Er, anyways... Sanji is the first one to come to mind, but only if he wasn't such a flirt.
Other possibilities: ranma, for obvious reasons (not sure how I'd get along with him though)... not sure who else off hand, but I'll add if I think of any
I kind of liked Rinoa from FF8? But she was hardly my "ideal mate", mostly a crush.
Obsequium amicos, veritas odium parit
Elish Cuthbert/Danielle from The Girl Next Door
Confident, sexy, doesn't take shit, while maintaining an innocence(despite her career).
Yum.

I guess Taarna of Heavy Metal isn't bad:
Maybe also Samantha from Bewitched (the sitcom, not the movie).

I don't know if you can see this post or not, but I'm curious as to what type you think Al is. Feel free to PM me if you don't want to discuss it here.
I read this post. Best quess for Al that I've seen is SEI. Very anti-action, anti-aggression. "Can't we all just get along" and his biggest desire is to feel his surroundings and the warmth of bodies.... I'd brobably be sad that no one can see my facial expressions, so it might be type-related wish. there's a thread about it somewhere...

Enneagram 9-ish?
SEI works. I guess any IxFx (besides ESI) would work imo. He did seem rather Si/Ne > Se though.
I used to think someone like Penelope Cruz's character from "Blow," Mirtha, would be my ideal mate (at least as she is when he first meets her). My ideal mate has to be someone with a nose for intensity and randomness of experience, which is basically what I saw in her: someone passionate and adventure-seeking who is willing to "push it to the limit."
Upon further reflection, I would definitely have to go with Ana from Stranger than Fiction (Maggie Gyllenhaal's character...god what a hottie). She's a badass and totally cool and nice and understanding at the same time. And she makes good cookies

Mr.Darcy from Pride and Prejudice always made my heart go disgustingly mushy, though I'm not sure if this is a ridiculous little crush or someone I actually thought would suit me. I'm not the most "emotionally aware" individual when it comes to identifying people of romantic interest.
Hmm, who else...
You know, come to think of it, there aren't a lot of male fictional characters that I feel I could relate to on a long-term, intimate level. Just like I have a lot of trouble pin-pointing female fictional character with whom I relate well.
ILE

Very busy with work. Only kind of around.
Evey (V For Vendetta)
Trixie (Speed Racer)
Cassie (Sunshine)
Sniper - Team Fortress
I always imagined him as ESTj.
Basically if you have an Australian accent I will have sex with you.

I really like the characters of Captain Blood, Clark Kent, and Spock, but not so far as wanting to spend time with them. None of the heroes I'm familiar with are my type. I think my type is the extra walking across the street that probably wishes he were involved. If I remember a character who's my type I'll let you know...maybe the redeemed Edmund from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
Pam Beesly
The end is nigh
Actually I decided: Persephone from The Matrix (Monica Bellucci).

Clytemnestra. I would have said Medea or Hedda Gabler, but Clytemnestra seems like she could weather a few years on the rough side of town with me while we're trying to get established in life or I'm in grad school or whatever. Actually, Medea could too, but... she's not as great as Clytemestra. And besides, I feel like any little thing could set Medea off. With Clytemnestra all I have to do is not kill our child, and everything's peachy! Also, I feel like Clytemnestra would have more fun with someone with a little more backbone than Aegisthus, but not as rigid and boringtastic as Agamemnon, i.e., me.
I've always wanted a relationship like Catherine and Frederic from that Hemmingway novel, but I don't think Catherine is my type (socionics and otherwise), although she is pretty darn cool.
In other news, I would *not* want to be with Helen of Troy, who is a whiny little brat. Also, her and Paris are identicals (ISFp), I'm pretty sure.
Not Barb from August: Osage County, because I don't go for girls with Southern accents, although I bet she was kinda hot when she was my age.
Hmmm... agreed. I think Maggie Gyllenhaal is beautiful, although everyone I know seems to think she's ugly. But they are gravely mistaken.Upon further reflection, I would definitely have to go with Ana from Stranger than Fiction (Maggie Gyllenhaal's character...god what a hottie). She's a badass and totally cool and nice and understanding at the same time. And she makes good cookies
But yeah, I can't think of a real ideal fictional woman. Maybe I'll write one like Charles Dickens.
Not a rule, just a trend.
IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.
Yes 'a ma'am that's pretty music...
I am grateful for the mystery of the soul, because without it, there could be no contemplation, except of the mysteries of divinity, which are far more dangerous to get wrong.
Rinoa. Definitely.

We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,

I can't remember any other ideal female characters.
Er... umm... yeah.

There has to be more. She is so goddamn vanilla, it's just pathetic.

Idk. I used to care about this crap in like 2nd grade.
I thought girls had cooties in second grade.

Oh wow, how could I have forgotten Wolverine of X-Men fame?
I think she's really attractive too but to me it's more her personality. Like...if i could find a straight male that had her personality, we'd get married. She's just so likeable. I wonder what her type is.
And lol @ someone who also had a crush on Spock. I had one for the longest time.
Agent Olivia Dunham from "Fringe."
Physically she isn't even what I normally go for (dark hair, dark eyes, olive skin being my usual), there's just something about the character I find really attractive.

Cara from Legend of the Seeker.
Just a few:
Dee Reynolds
Yu Shu Lien
That girl from Chuck
Miranda Lawson (mass effect 2)
and of course
Moonlight will fall
Winter will end
Harvest will come
Your heart will mend
I would be attracted to Miranda if she didn't look like my mom when she was young.
It's really strange to me when people say they're attracted to an animated character. A couple of my guy friends went on and on about how hot the blue chick from avatar was and it's just like WTF.
