I want him vs. Trump vs. John Mcaffe three way fuckfest. In that way we will answer a great deal of questions. First, Trump vs. Mcafee= Billionaire vs. Billionaire. In that vein, I'll vote to the one most willing to devote the most personal treasure to the campaign. I wanna hand my vote to the one who obviously wants it more by sheer dint of how much of their own dosh they were willing to throw down to get it. The two essentially right-wingers will be dead set against the outright socialist Jew Bernie Sanders no matter what as well. It'd be an ultimate clash of ideologies. The hardcore "right" vs. the hardcore "left" vs. the "libertarian" nuclear option in a no holds barred duel to the death. Dear god am I glad I live in popcorn country for this bout!
Now, I myself sympathize with the left. I really do want to see a "Brotherhood of Man" come to be... But I don't think we can do that within our own lifetimes. Tribalism is a thing and we will need a period where tribal warfare didn't happen within living memory to actually make that dream a reality. So long as that violence is within living memory? Yeah, good luck with that one. Blood feuds are a thing and they sadly transcend skin color. Don't believe me? Look up the Punic wars. Yeah, that's some serious shit. Rome won by the way, but only because they lucked out. Hannibal was a genius, but he had shit luck. Tragic really, but only for him...
it's all the show. there is no democracy in USA and nowhere
Hillary's got the establishment, but we have The Hulk.

It isn't too late. The Democrats can still be pushed towards what he represents. And the next next president(latest possible date: 2024) can emerge as a beautiful paragon of these quite valid values. Sometimes the present needs to be sacrificed in order to let the change take place. As boring, unpleasurable etc that is...it is so. One could even call it "Incubation Time / Period".

God, I hope she goes to the slammer!
Biden should've been the candidate fml. Still, there is hope for Bernie

These are countries that have low spending, and have many policies that are more free market than socialistic. These countries are far more free market than the US. They definitely have things that I do not agree with ideologically, but in comparison to what we have I'd say they are better examples of what free trade can do for a country as opposed to socialism. If you want a good example of what socialism does, look at Venezuela.

One thing to point out, as the countries tax rates have gone up, so has the economic success of the countries. 23 years ago Sweden had the 4th wealthiest country in the world. From that point the tax rates have gone up to much higher levels and has a result their relative wealth has dropped them all the way back to the 15 wealthiest country in the world. The trend in these high tax environments has been downward.

Which is just why I am vs imposing those ultra giga heavy taxes unto the enterpreneurs. They need an incetive to do a business or they'll simply move to another country(most likely less ideal, but with better financials). Trust me, I know from my country's example.
If anything, the military should get the axe. There is NO REASON to wage wars! Let me repeat it, ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. Therefore, those funds could get reallocated to gvnmt branches that are actually, you know, lacking. The military is anything but lacking currently.
This way you could've both wins: Bernie's and Trump's. Easy, right
I agree, but I wouldn't stop there. 100% of the government -- from federal to local level -- should get the axe. The money should be returned to the people and we'll vote with our dollars and voluntary participation to determine what services we actually need and have utility in a modern civilization.
Democracies seem always to destroy themselves and end up in repressive authoritarianism of one kind or another. I've always considered Leonard Cohen's famous songs "Democracy is coming to the USA" and "The future" to be almost prophetic.
Democracy is a treacherous sea the US is sailing towards and has partly entered, hopefully there's still time to turn the ship of state around.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

I can't say that I understand the irrational hatred of Hillary Clinton. She's a politician, and everyone knows that politicians are not honest and that they sometimes break the law. If you don't trust her because she lies and breaks the law, then you might as well renounce 99% of politicians that have run for office in the past century.
I wish I could vote for Bernie Sanders (don't blab to me about super-delegates and "the math"), but I think the most important aspect of his candidacy is that he's been vocal about economic stratification that exists within the US, even if his solutions are not very pragmatic. He has mobilized many members of the younger generation and inspired an interest in politics.

Bernie just pretty much endorsed Hillary. I heard his gravelly voice in my sleep and woke up to find a breaking news alert on TV.
I don't blame him from seeing this through though. He does not want to break his promise to his supporters. He will never get another chance so he is going for it. He is probably aiming for VP at this point and showing they can't do it without him.
Edit: A vote for Johnson is a vote for Trump because Gary can't win.

I'm astonished that according to a poll in March, if given the choice between Clinton and Trump, 9% of Sanders supporters would vote for Trump. Do they really have no clue whatsoever about what Trump represents?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-us-2016-36474856
worst choices ever. feeling exhausted, despondent.
A vote for trump is a vote for trump.
A vote for clinton is a vote for clinton.
A vote for johnson is a vote for johnson.
And a vote for stein is a vote for stein.
If you want to vote "Not Trump" then there's three other choices.
Same with "Not Clinton"... three other choices.
That doesn't include write-in option nor even smaller parties than the four.
It doesn't say much for a candidate if people are only voting for them as a symbol of "not-other-candidate".
Nor does it say much if a candidate can't get enough support based on their own values/principles/actions.
Imo, to say things like "a vote for [anyone other than Clinton] is a vote for Trump" is actually putting Clinton down as well...as if she has nothing else to offer other than being "not Trump".
It's also a cheap scare tactic used to try to coerce people into supporting establishment politics instead of fighting for political change. It works...because people in the past kept falling for it, allowing the establishment politics to get further and further entrenched and harder and harder to change.
On a personal note, I'm sad Sanders didn't get closer than he had.
