A socionics Fi ego type and an introverted F type are more likely to prefer just hanging with 1-2 other people as opposed to 5, 10, large room full of people. An Fi base/creative is more interested in individual interactions, attractions/repulsions, etc. Crowds/parties are like forests, but the Fi is focusing on the relationships each individual tree has to another individual tree. 2 people have 2 relationships..how A feels towards B, and how B feels towards A. Add another person and now there's 6: AB, AC, BA, BC, CA, CB relationships to track. Add a fourth person and now there's 12:AB, AC, AD, BA, BC, BD, CA, CB, CD, DA, DB, DC. And this didn't even cover how a person feels about themselves or their own actions (AA, BB, CC, DD)
And then, add in the idea that it's not even about the whole person, but about individual aspects to a person, or their actions, etc. And the Fi info between two or three people is far far greater. Talk about exhausting!!
This is one reason why i think enfps are the most introverted of the extroverted feeling types.
