A far-away friend and I talked about me moving in with him and a mutual friend for college.
"Good thing she's pretty. Otherwise, we couldn't keep her around for long," he said to the other.
I was like wha, jeez, am I really that annoying?
WELL SHIT, I GUESS I AM. He's
really cracked lately and been blowing me off for "inane behavior" that is basically me being myself; the unintentional poke and prod.
Sound familiar? To the conditioned socionist, it should. Because, omfg plot twist, he's SLI, which I recently found out is my...
Supervisee.
I luled when I read up on ESE-SLI interactions, ohhhh maaannn. The interaction dynamic described was basically the most recent argument we had (and probably the only major one, WOO TEENAGE HORMONES). Relationships are such funny abstractions when you don't view people as people.
P.S. Sorry, Maritsa! I used to think I was IEE or SEE, but turns out I'm not your mirror. ;(
