„Man can do what he wants but he cannot want what he wants.“

Interesting. Would you guys try to find the last question associated with the type that you want to be and see if it matches the type you think you are?

Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?
I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.-Mark Twain
You can't wake a person who is pretending to be asleep.

The description of my type is one of the best that I've ever found:
Dostoevsky (Ethical-intuitive introvert EII)
Author description - Victor Gulenko
Humanist (Americans "Predictor") believes that the world is ruled by kindness.
These people are inherent in altruism, empathy, kindness, empathy. They tend to be happy happy friends. They - that "vest", which can always cry loved one. Very fond of children, there are some good psychologists, especially children. They are characterized by increased vulnerability and sensitivity, because of what the far psychological distance are indecisive and not demonstrative. Do not like disputes and conflicts. Possess a high degree of insight and discernment. Sometimes these people can be found among teachers - particularly the humanities and literature (they are very poetic, like metaphors, are rich in imagination), but more often they are found among doctors, especially pediatricians, and employees of kindergartens. Gift of a doctor they have by nature, to the same - soft and tolerant people. Can not repel aggression or expansion - in such cases tend to be either suspended or subject. At the same fundamental issues for themselves defending their position until the end. Need to be agile business partner, for which "like a stone wall." Do not look after their comfort, are inattentive to their health. They are very caring in these matters to others. Have the weakest among all psychological types of internal energy, because of what can often get sick. Tend to criticize others for acts of excessive emotionality, themselves often it only on very close psychological distance. Tend to the harmony of human relationships. I am pleased to engage in self-education. Has a talent for literature and psychology. Able to control the great time - until the precise time without a clock. Well able to normalize the work. The scope of professions: Humanities research, culture, literature, psychotherapy (particularly diagnostics), a liberal arts education, literature, journalism.
