I've been thinking the same thing!
I sometimes get headaches after heavy periods of mental stimulation.

Circular Functions - especially derivatives.
I would imagine that any type of heavy thinking would lead to headache, so I would think any of the functions that aren't in your ego, and when you are trying to achieve some type of quality through their use. Because you can't really get into a sense of "flow" and because you don't feel as comfortable/aren't as capable using them.

Yeah, Ti and Se.

Input, PLEASEAnd thank you
I don't really ever get headaches, so no, not really.
"To become is just like falling asleep. You never know exactly when it happens, the transition, the magic, and you think, if you could only recall that exact moment of crossing the line then you would understand everything; you would see it all"
"Angels dancing on the head of a pin dissolve into nothingness at the bedside of a dying child."
Demonstrative Ti does. Not just comprehending it, which is mostly fine, but using it, speaking this language - like when Ti types ask/expect/demand reply in these terms because otherwise it's too vague or whatever.
(And I don't mean literally headaches. So if that's what you mean, 3d movies are worse than any function.)

If you're in an environment where you have to use weak functions for a period of time, that can cause stress and frustration, which can cause headaches.
You guys must fail hard at meditation.
And no, "S types" don't have it easier - over-focusing on processing immediate data isn't and different in calming your mind than over-focusing on non-immediate physical data.
....being aware enough to control your own mind and mental energies is important for your health in a lot of ways. And while "I may not like to dabble extensively" in certain forms of intuitive thinking, or emotional expression, sure, I think it comes down to matter of understanding and control in terms of understanding your own health and limits, etc.
Of course, we will probably seen that being written off as "strong Si"

I can do both.
I seriously suggest that this is less to do with "functional alignment" and more to do with lack of training or exercising the mind. If you are so used to overprocessing your mind in only one way, and it hurts to not use it for one way for 30 seconds, I think that's bad news bears.
But I also think there is a big difference between voluntarily putting yourself through an exercise like that and being forced to do so in an uncomfortable situation. If you're having trouble doing such a thing on your own will, then I suggest some form of therapy or exercising (or meditation practice) so that you can ... become less brittle and more open.

maybe you should look into that...

Invention and bullshitting. Explaining things in long round-about complicated ways, regardless of subject matter, makes me feel sick. In my opinion, the more words that are used, the easier it is for the truth to hide. Obscuring the truth from myself or others, bugs me. It makes my head hurt, and makes me sad. Overcomplicated and flowery language, is often just a lot of twists and turns put on a giant steaming pile of shit. It's not a fxn that makes my head hurt. It's dishonesty that does.

Negative Taciturness . Well, it's not really a headache but it hurts.
Using gives me a headache too.
Trying to emulate Se can make me dizzy. I'm not accustomed to observing the objects in my immediate environment, so everything becomes a giant blur that just makes my eyes hurt.
OK, so all the intuitives seem to be having trouble shutting off their imaginations (without adopting "serious, tense" attitudes).
Do I have confirmation that all of the LIIs here, have difficulty shutting off their imaginations? What about the LSIs? What are their experiences with imagination?
depends on the situation i guess... you talking about day dreaming? generating different ideas?
dirty imaginations...they come easily
day dreaming about certain things/people...they come on occasion.
imagining about how things can go wrong in the near future...very good at that lol.
my brother coming up to me, "yo give me some plot ideas for this film"...uh i suck at generating new ideas.
I'll assign a task for myself, and do the task subconsciously as I think in very great depth about something. I whenever I think about something, I associate an image with it. There are no words without images. The images flicker in my mind's eye for at most 2 seconds each, and in quick succession. I only think about the things in my environment when I need to find something -- when I undertake a task, I tend to lay whatever I'm holding at the time in the nearest free spot, and go about doing the new task. If I don't, I'm like to lose my train of thought and have to recover the train of conclusions that lead me to undertake the task. However, I often forget where I laid it. I am particularly forgetful when given instructions from another person.
Sometimes it will take me a half hour to find something that I had casually laid down then night before. (like my keys)
