To speak bluntly, McCain seems cuter.
Palin seems more like she'd actually come after you and shoot you, or bust some nuts.
Yes, I know McCain was in the military. But it does seem to be some sort of difference between the two.

He could be LSE.
But, underneath all the "cuteness", I think he has more of an edge than, say, Bush 41 who is a clear LSE imo.

However, I don't really see a direct comparison.
I'll have to bump the TO thread.
PS: TO seems more....
Well, maybe it's something like this. TO seems more 8w9 than McCain. I don't know his enneatype, but I get a much different feeling from TO as opposed to McCain.

I agree with Pallin as ISFj.
McCain--I've mostly considered Delta logical for him, and gone back and forth between SLI and LSE... ESI is also in that mix--third though.
I like both of their personalities; I'm not sold on their policies, lol. (Opposite for Obama/Biden.)

I haven't read the book but as ESE conflictor makes sense for that type as if JK Rowling is ILI aye.
However, in the movie Umbridge to me came across as an uptight 'guardian' of conservative values (including Old School physical punishment) and a rather typical 'bad ESI' movie caricature, in the mold of Rachel in One flew over the Cuckoo's nest (both totally lacking in Fe). "Wiki: The moralist who is quick to judge people for good and bad behavior, finds fault easily, and punishes just as easily."
I posted that pic because I feel there is something phony over Palin's kind of conservatism, just as it for Ms Umbridge's.

Again, I don't see a similarity between the two. Umbridge very clearly had a Ni PoLR, imo. And while she wasn't sweet and warm, she was "traditionally feminine" in a manner in which I've seen Fe dominants behave.
What I'm trying to say is that ESI's don't judge good and bad behavior against rules, tradition, or social standards. Yes, they definitely judge good and bad behavior against their own value systems and can be pretty harsh when dealing with those they see as immoral, but it's nothing like Umbridge.
