I'm not entirely certain what's going on in this video...
Was he taken away to be killed? But somehow "death" took him first?
The woman was on his side right? Didn't she kill the bad guy? But why does she look shocked like she did something wrong when he "appears"? And is he really dead?
I did get the IEI depressed poet-martyr vibe about him, lol. He's very expressive despite having few expressions. Oh and there's this morbidity feel and fascination with death and dying for a noble cause feel to the whole thing. It all reminds me of Edgar Allan Poe - not so much what happens, but the mood of it, the creepy looking faces of the people especially when they smile and their tongues come out.
If I were to associate the video with an IM element, it would be in a way.
That video really confused me, but I'd agree with IEI>ILI for the reasons Loki and Starfall mentioned. The music was good though.

That is way more IEI than ILI.
This one is closer to ILI, I think:

I agree that it's ILI, but I feel like a lot of my ILI friends find stuff like that really laughable. I should ask them...

I haven't watched the entire show or whatever it is that that intro in Expat's video is from, but either way, I loved that intro. Very beautiful in a strange way.
