When's the last time YOU did community service?
When's the last time YOU did community service?
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
Right after the last time I was caught committing a crime.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
I might have to do some, depending on the outcome of my hearing for my driving incident.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
Is it just me or does community service sound like fun?
Community service actually does sound fun (and ime is fun) but I haven't done it since I was in high school.

I haven't done as much lately as I used to...but in general it's a pretty good time. Especially when you can gather a group of friends and find a good project to work on....or a bad one that you can turn into a fun time.
I volunteer at a local animal shelter and I love it.
Oh I forgot, i'm not beta. *Removes self*

i advocated for homeless rights back home and made the news...
i've contacted the aclu to protect the freedom of religion of a teenager and got a front page news story...
i voluntered in a domestic violence shelter for a summer ...
some people done more shit than anybody else will ever do ... some people find ways to weave politics and things into their lives...sometimes we work in a diverse work environment...
i watched the speech and cried last night and so did my male friend cry both of us very committed, even as 'whites' to diversity and equality bot having very personal experiences with it.
I made it my mission to challenge my conceptions about other people...
we can all only do so much, though some of us will do great things, and whatever we contribute the fact that we do at all is pretty great, i think.

lmao
I'm burned out on all that stuff. I had to do it so much as part of my redemption for choosing my own path in life and breaking societal norms. (dropped out of school entirely and got sent to group homes that demanded we did all that shit)
The funny thing is since it wasn't really voluntary though I didn't get much satisfaction out of it. But it mentally masturbated me into psychology and humanistic development. Now I care about the world and shit.
I noticed the people that want to help the world the most, also have the most problems soooo I'm not so sure. You read about Plato and the allegory of the cave right? Kinda wish I wasn't woken up. I was so sure of who the bad guys were, and didn't really question anything.
I'll do community service when I get paid for it.
