warning, the first page (the cover) is out of proportion and looks weird, but the pages after that are normal

yeah, I just edited my post up there, regarding pictures

    it's a gorgeous book, but $40

i can attest to the pretty pictures in that book. but I think it's a coffee table book, it's kind of weird reading it on a screen.

that one i'm just finding a bogus review of in pdf instead of the book and requests for somebody to upload the real book. i gave it five minutes of searching then started getting creeped out that i was going to catch some malware. sorry.

That,s ok, I have both books, but have been wanting to share/show things from them. But mostly from that Human Brain Book, which yes, is wonderful to have a hard copy of! It's gorgeous! And my absolute fav for introductory info.

Other books I am considering buying are:
"Brain: the complete mind" by Michael S Sweeney
    (actually, almost anything by him)

"neuroscience: exploring the brain" by mark f bear
    (a textbook)

"networks of the brain" by olaf sporn

    "brain bugs" by dean buonomano
(just cuz I like exploring these kinds of ideas)

    "Exploring consciousness" by rita carter
(another one that i could only find that stupid review pdf for)

But only if you are bored and/or want to.
I'm actually quite happy that you found the human brain book...ok, i'm actually jumping up and down, lol.

whoa this book is intense. Locked in syndrome and terry shiavo and...it sucks to think about this stuff lol

    looking forward to more
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...
