Watched the movie this afternoon, and I just want to announce: I want to meet someone just like Mark Darcy.
The way he was, was just PERFECT. Fe-POLR with Si. . .

He kind of reminded me of an LSI, eh?
But I can see how he'd be appealing.
I didn't like the main character very much, to be honest .... From what I remember. It's been a while.
Let's review with this person's favorite scenes.
haha, imo Bridget Jones is IEE and Mark Darcy is SLI... actually Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth could be the same types as the characters they play.
Hmm
Ok, maybe
better clip
My favorite scenes were:
1) where Mark Darcy is coming down the stairwell and confesses his feelings to Bridget.
2) the final scene, where he trudges out after having read the diary, she thinks he's leaving because he's hurt (which is exactly what I thought too!), she runs after him in the snow in her undies, explaining how she didn't mean it, and he's like "I know, that's why i bought you a new one." (i.e. a new diary). lol!!
3) where he is helping her with the birthday dinner
I couldn't find youtube clips of them unfortunately.
but yeah, not LSI at all. SLI through and through. Even looks a bit like Jean Gabin too. Fe-POLR to the MAX. I considered ILI too but i saw signs of Si there, and he's a caregiver not a victim.

Did you know there's a sequel? It's not as cool as the 1st part, but I think you'll find it worth watching. :wink:but yeah, not LSI at all. SLI through and through. btw I noticed something quite interesting:
I watched a bunch of youtube clips of colin firth, and he is a lot more attractive when he is acting with or being interviewed by an IEE (renee zellweger, Ellen DeGeneres), and less so in other settings.

Nobody brings out my smile like a delta NF, it seems.
My smile is almost entirely dependent upon my interpretation of Fi matters.
I don't like renee.... sorry.
Ryu wants to get by without answering my question. Bad boy.
How can I not like this:

On a more serious note, you're right, there's a sizeable age difference between us. I dont feel like a 3-5 year younger guy age difference is that big a deal (more dependent on maturity than anything else), but with you i'd feel like i was robbing the cradle almost.

I propose we rename Delta quadra to Eyebrows quadra.
Hey, my grandparents were 10 years apart and nothing got in their way. They had one of the most stable and conflict-free relationships/marriages I've seen. Raised two children and a couple of grandchildren, went trough a lot together and never had a single fight.

I'd agree with SLI, I did some back research on Wikisocion and it seems like, Si dominant, Fe-PoLR, and Fi-HA all fit the bill.
I don't know why, but its hard for me to plug in to movies like this, I can't take zellweger's british accent serious and I can't take a plot which is so convenient serious. Very feel good movie... I think that's why its Delta. It's Si and Fi. It makes you feel comfortable, peaceful, and warm.
true story, I thought about becoming a lawyer after seeing the clips of that film again.
but
being a lawyer is kind of a pain the ass. "6 year detour" from my life. IDK if its worth it or not, so I'll think about it. I'd love to be an "International Human Rights Lawyer", from the sound of it, but, IDK how that's going to work out.
Bridget is a total IEE, but how in the world is Darcy SLI??? Stick up his ass, proper English gent, uptight, all about the rules and appropriate behaviour, on edge and nervous/worried all the time, barrister...nothing irrational about him. The point of their relationship is that they're total opposites.
Going by some descriptions it’s honestly not absolutely impossible.
[SLI subtypes]
Also from Erotic attitudes:http://www.wikisocion.org/en/index.php?title=CaringDescription by Victor Gulenko (SLI-Te)
Outwardly seems business-oriented, somewhat severe, cold and unapproachable. A realist and skeptic, distrustful of novelty, and of those who advance ideas of declarative nature [slogans?]. Will always avoid working on useless projects due to pragmatic nature. Very dynamic and technologically effective. Can extract maximum benefits even from something that is seems useless. His products are always at the forefront and will stand up to any competition on the market. In clothing he is restrained, conservative, and prefers a sporty, technological style.
I mean yeah sure you can think of them what you want, but what other alternatives would be there? Victim? Aggressor? Or going radcal - it’s all bullshit and should be nuked? Well... the last time I checked a lot of people still used them in typing. This romance style is defined by focus on Si which is dynamic, irrational, and introverted, with perceptions of the present reality and physical sensations rather than inner imagery. This means that a Caring type sees attraction between two individuals as a dynamic state, which he feels is completely natural, as he also sees the physical comfort and well-being of another person as dynamic. This accounts for a Caring type's inclination to focus on the mutual attraction, or particularly the attraction felt by the other person, as connected to that person's physical well-being. The individual's own dynamic and introverted Ne perceptions lead to a sense of sleepy drifting in them, which makes him welcome impulses from another person designed to shake him out of it from time to time.
Re. opposites: Is Ne suggestive, like painted in these particular descriptions (like some parts in the SLI-Te description), and her providing Ne for him that much out of question (like Ne shaking Si from time to time up)? Or Te creative interacting with Fi creative? Or that the Super-ID Block is always a bit of a struggle, because it’s the opposite attitude of the Ego-Block. But well here you can go, it’s what you think, but is it really that hard to see? Like when you read Jung (but then again you can also think about Jung what you want) and him talking about how the other attitude is always kind of archaic?
Note in the side/unrelated but sth. that goes around for some time now: the more I think of it, the more I believe it’s better to understand some things inside yourself and developing that things inside of you, than thinking it’s out there and the cure for all your problems (honestly nobody has the answer to all of lifes shit). Well at least try and fail here and there and get up and try and fail better. Like to find this feeling of security and owning and understanding little by little inside you, than always ohhh... hoping that another person is the answer/the key to everything.

Darcy is loosely based on Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice, who was LSI e1 (he was less awkward though).
The sequel is very cute, both Bridget, Darcy and their relationship are adorable. Bridget is devided between two men (the other is probably ESE) and the point is that she and Darcy supposedly have laughably bad compatibility by online matching programme and a disastrous relationship history, but still end up together.
omg this movie is so straight woman-ish.
Hmm.
You're probably right in that I probably have nothing in common with people or characters I think I have something in common with. I've never had the slightest clue about how I come across to people. Character traits have always fascinated me because I've mostly been oblivious to them, I think.
I do appear strict, inflexible and/or uptight to some, as I have been told.
