I can't put it into words exactly, but there's just.. something to it. I even used this something to confirm a casual friend IRL as SEE just by hearing her speak once (I was thinking some sort of Se-ego and possibly Gamma type but wasn't entirely sure until that time). I really wish I could put these things into words.

To verify the typing the next thing I'd be looking for is wether the "thinking style" (process/result with negative/positive) fits with what is expected. From what I have seen, she regularly begins threads with questions as to how a certain socionics-concept works, or how a real-life event should be interpreted in socionics. This is a focus on an obstacle, a problem... Process types do this, from what I know, so that's in line with ESFp. As a last verifyer you could check the "command style" (aristocrat/democrat with taciturn/narrator) by judging wether she is a person who adapts to others' rules (like a guest; democracy) or a person who tries to make others' adapt to their rules (like a host; aristocracy). I think things point to the democrat side in her case, so no complications there. ESFp sounds good.

i would say that her behavior has to do with her type not her perception of the label of her type, since her behavior is consistent across multiple threads. i suppose we all could start behaving in ways that are consistent with our type label...but this would be hard to do if it was not naturally who we are, so it would break down eventually. even on line, the longer somebody stays with the forum, the more posts they have, the longer their posts are, the more their type would tend to naturally shine through.

So. Diana isn't necessarily an ESI, and you're not necessarily ILE (as you've shown). Minde is an EII. Megan could be anything. discojoe I don't think is an ESI. I don't care what Expat, he or Joy say.
