INFj

The three types you seem most like are ENFp, INFj, and ISFj. It seems like you'd have to be an INFj in order to seem something like an ENFp and something like an ISFj.

I think he'd be a lot more heavy handed if he was ISFj.
Yeah he isn't right on ISFj but he seems to have something in common with them - either the Ij temperment, or accepting Fi instead of creating, or something. He isn't right on ENFp for the opposite reasons.

.
ENFp.
On a side note, I don't see the need to pursue so many degrees in various unrelated fields.
Yeah, that is a more ENFp-ish thing thing to do.
ENFp.

You're still ENFp. (creating a myspace page does not change a person's type)
EIE, ENFj, intuitive subtype.
E3 (probably 3w4)
Cool ILI hubbys are better than LSIs any time!

True - that is ENFpish, and his love of learning languages is too.Originally Posted by eunice

Yeah, the whole academic persona and being a life long student (or teacher) seems to be common for ENFps.
It's common for ENTps and ENFps. Just to confuse things.
I think rmcnew has been overtyped beyond the point of no return, but my vote is EII (yeah, once upon a time I voted for ILE and once for EIE). I think there is a > preference. He seems to be principled in a way that the other IEEs are not, and takes things seriously when an IEE would ignore things. To me he seems like a person of ideals like so many EIIs. Many of these ideals aren't practical, but they can be internally satisfying (learning ancient classical languages, for instance). You get a feeling of satisfaction from having obtained classical knowledge and knowing something that few people know, but most IEEs would quickly drop these things because they don't open opportunities to meet interesting people. Even managing this forum is a matter of principle rather than something that will necessarily increase his personal potential (making important contacts, expanding one's own intellectual territory). I get less of a sense of an open-ended and spontaneous search from him than from other IEEs. Instead, he knows how things should be and confines his activities to studying and working on "the way things should be." (so vague, I know) Basically, he is a person with some deeply-held convictions about the way things should be. IEEs also have deep convictions (sometimes), but they feel sheepish about bringing them out in the open. He has a concern for "appropriateness" that I haven't seen among IEEs except for very religious ones. Also, he seems to be here at the forum very reliably, day in and day out, without the periods of absence and neglect that are typical for IEEs.
Just some ideas.
And also for EIIs. I think it's common for IEEs to drop out of school and make several attempts at graduating, or to scoff at academia in general.Originally Posted by Joy
The main reason why I have been to so many schools mostly has to do with the fact that I have changed majors so many times. Essentially, I am pretty much stuck with German now till I graduate or I may not graduate. And, I am pretty determined now to graduate.
Do it!
EII - INFj
Interesting page!
Do you have some videos to show where you are in? Specially those where you act like you normally do.
Semiotical process
Yeah I agree with Rick and others that he might be a type other than ENFp. Managing a forum is detail oriented and there are probably a lot of routine tasks, or detail oriented tasks. I can't speak for other ENFps, but for me, I'd would have a hard time sticking to something like that for very long. I got an INTp feel from the page. He has a similar expression to an outgoing INTp I knew.
Hi! I'm an ENFP. :-)
I tried to get a video of myself, but could not find it.Originally Posted by jsb'07
