I was thinking of 3w4.

He seems more image conscious as compared to a type 8, and I thought he is rather adept in separating his identities as a wrestler and actor. It's like, he is able to portray two different personas for "The Rock" and "Dwayne Johnson" rather successfully to the extent that there isn't much connection between both roles. He seems more interested in "winning and accomplishing" rather than "taking charge and be in control".

I would hope that when Ni types discuss the future it takes the form what SHALL be, not what they merely wish could be. Obama makes Ni types look bad! Ni mobilizing would make his future-speak a "pathetic" hidden agenda - which it seems more like.

i hadn't noticed any similarities myself until someone else on this thread mentioned it. i find isfj strange for obama, at least thinking back on the campaign debates. isfj seem to be bound to overreact, withdraw, take offense and loose sight of their goal imo. whereas obama seemed to just keep his cool. esfps on the other hand, at least those i've known involved in debate clubs etc, are quite the rockstar in such situations - it's like they slowly build a Se smokescreen around you. it's not that you don't know what they're trying to do, rather that they perform for an audience and care more to convince the audience even if you see through it . funny stuff, in a way

i'm not certain of obama's type. who's to say he can't be isfj, just that infp seems to make a bit more sense to me...fwiw (and sorry for derail )

Enneagram 3 can be emotionally explosive for the right purpose, it's all about motivation. In fact, we'd do anything for attention, esp in the unhealthy ranges. Take it from an E3 herself: Emotion is a collective tool. And only then, that's when comes in E3s aren't cold and robotic but passionate about achievement, on top of that: our wings are highly emotional no matter how well we can use them. 2-wing: big jovial energy. 4-wing: broad range of dramatism.

Nah, ESE. Filatova says ESEs are among "the smiliest" of the socion and Dwayne at his most natural self, is a merry, jolly, smiley, animated, facially mobile as fuck, walking Fe radiator. I find that heterosexual ESE males, in particular, pump their Super Ego functions an awful lot, which would give the appearance that he's a LIE, but nope--LIEs' faces don't do that much moving. And ESEs have 4D Se, so it is not uncommon to see some of them heavily involved in highly physical activities; they are also are often found in the entertainment industry and so no shocker there.
