    Default Conversing in Latin

By the way, I feel as if I've just stumbled into the wrong party, or gone to a party I should have skipped. I don't know how many people are out there, but no one seems to be talking about anything I can contribute to. What is the general age of this group? Are INTP people really uncommon? Am I going to continue to feel weird and out of place here? Thanks.

And I'm replying to my own "thread", which must be crazy, but how does one find out which types I'm most likely to get along with? Thanks.

Just chill and watch and chime into a thread here and there. Eventually you wont feel so uncomfortable.

A lot of your confusion probably comes from Socionics communities such as this one tending to have a different way of labeling the types compared to MBTI.

You may find this article helpful, as well as the rest of that wiki: http://www.wikisocion.net/en/index.php?title=Type_names

Thanks. I enjoyed your advice and quote. Is it original or is it borrowed?

The last test you mention is, I believe, the one I took. The test had a slider, so there were ranges rather than black and white answers, which makes more sense on a psych test. About 85 questions with a slider, then some (silly?) photos of people where you choose which one you prefer. It would be nice if there was a photo of a desert and a photo of one of the Great Lakes or the north Atlantic coast to choose from. That would seem to say quite a bit. Desert or wild water. What a nice choice. Thanks much.
