I don't even think gay SLI's exist either. Have you met a gay/bi male SLI? I had an SLI friend that thought I came onto him a couple months ago, even though it was deffffff not the case, and he totally ran off. Got spooked like crazy. Poor guy, I thought we were really good friends. Super homophobic, which is kind of sad for him I guess.

SLIs are homebodies for the most part. If they're out and about it's probably doing some kind of hobby like rockclimbing or low-key stuff like going to a movie or something.

An SLI is going to be much less likely to join the military than an SLE. The only thing here that I would expect an SLI to do is computer science. They can be quite intellectual.

I found one in my new workplace, a commissary for a fine dining restaurant. She's not the typical beauty. If by my normal standards her aesthetics will fail. But she's extremely cute/adorable, VERY charming, very capable and independent. And she's one of the smartest workmates I have. No fuss, no drama. Even with the little that she says, it's enough. Now, now, I'm an SLI, myself. I wonder how an IEE would handle all that being in contact everyday.

Representatives of any type can be queer, that's not the issue SLI included, but they are more of the closeted type, not even half as flamboyant and open as their duals in that regard. Introducing the gayness is our job

I've recently noticed that they are fairly represented as (geriatric) nurses and pharmacists. The female departments in the medicine field are very Si.

I know two female SLI's. One is a high ranking officer in the Air Force. She is unmarried and has horses.

The second one is my ex-wife. Her working career consisted of just a few jobs. The first was waitressing at a place like Denny's, but she got tired of that job because she didn't like standing all day. So she taught herself to type fast and got a job as a secretary at the University of Michigan's Institute of Social Research. Then she taught herself programming, and moved to being a Senior Systems Analyst in the UM finance office. Then she moved to the UM Law School, where she is now.

All of these later jobs satisfied her desire for low-stress work in an eternal institution with fantastic retirement benefits. If she had been born 500 years ago, she'd have been a nun.

Note also that the woman in the Air Force also has a relatively low stress job in an eternal institution with fantastic retirement benefits.

I saw a third SLI at the optometrist's office, where she was taking care of her health. SLI females seem to all be thin, healthy, and have the same clean, conservative, and tasteful taste in clothes, which is one of the easier ways to recognize them.

I don't know about quadras, but I really don't think that porn star or soldier would be a common job for the SLI girls.

As the portrait of SLI female by Beskova says, we care a lot for "self respect", and it includes not being exhibitionists* (line erased and change in terms because Guava chronic fear to Stigmasss...) or having sex with thousands of ppl that probably we don't even like…so no, no way.

I don't know if being a porn star would be the dream job for LSE, IEE or EII typical girls, honestly. But thats not my case and its not the case of other istps that I know. Actually I know a EII girl who thinks that being a porn star would be cool, so I cant talk for the entire quadra because we are extremely different from each other.

On the other hand, all the SLI girls that I know are kinda "lazy" (they prefer comfort), so I don't think that they would go to the army voluntarily (at least not as a soldier, I don't know for administrative areas). And all the Istps that I know HATE sales and customer service (I really don't hate customer service, but Its not my preferred area).

That said, I'd add that I hate people telling me what to do, obeying absurd rules, micromanaging and satisfying other people standards, so I prefer to work by my own or having a business with family or friends. Also having contact with people on a daily basis its really draining. I really don't care so much about financial security as much as for freedom (and being comfortable). But If I'd have to choose working for others, I obviously would do it in a high income job.

People could also stop suggesting sex work as a 'typical profession' at all. There's so much stigma attached to the bloody thing that a quarter of 'Professions for WXYz' threads consist of posts arguing about "one's high self-respect" and "*I* would never do that" and then I come in and get cranky about the stigma and everything is derailed and do you really want the Nazis to win? Really people, think about it.

I think some of them are quite active. Look for places where hands on mechanical expertise is needed. One SLI (who passed away recently) had very keen eye for mechanics. He liked to figure out those kinds things in his 80's even when his motor control was in quite bad shape. Was a farmer who fixed cars, built houses etc. I wouldn't call him a slob. He had interest to learn computers but his wife didn't give him a permission...


I know also one who has transformed his yard and home some sort of art exhibition. I think they like to build things in their own pace if they have resources.

I have met a fair number of SLI women working in arts and design fields. Modern dance, environmental design, fine art. Might try going to art exhibits of living artists, like in spaces where the artists actually work or are on hand to talk about their work. (Not museums so much, that may be a different crowd.)

That could be true. I've a degree in Fine Arts too.

They are everywhere. I know a couple at the Post Office, a couple of hair stylists, one who is a shop clerk, one secretary, two college teachers, a neighbor of mine, etc.

By pure statistics, there should be plenty of SLI females around in most places, you just don't know what to look for. I know only two variants:

* The narcissist, somewhat selfish and promiscuous (rare).
* The modest, even shy yet self confident (very common).

The first variant often dresses nicely, even provocatively, and attempts to be very social so you might mistake them for an extrovert type. One of the hair stylists, the shop clerk and and one of the college teachers I know are of this variant. The hair stylist made an scene at the bank recently as she was flirting with the cashier (also an SLI male) and an old SEI woman lost her patience and reprimanded her for keeping her waiting, accusing her loudly of being an "easy woman". The college teacher in particular used to sleep around with her younger students last I heard. A common friend even told me she was after me. I know the shop clerk looks innocent from distance, but she's got a tongue piercing and a "tramp stamp" tattoo. It's basically the stereotypical male SLI in a female skin. They are usually nice but can be superficial, since they are truly introverts inside yet act extroverted.

The other variant often looks like it can be anything from distance but that's because they doesn't like to attract attention so they present themselves as pretty unremarkable. Depending on her social skills, she might even act overly formal (the hair stylist I know works with an older LSE woman and owner of the shop; I've noticed she address her using the formal "you", which is rare between adults). This is the UBER-nice variant of SLI: super tender, super loving, super caring, super everything. You might even discover that beyond that plain face they present outwardly, they are extremely well developed inside since they are introverts and act like introverts, unlike the first variant. You have to wake them up from routine so they show you who they really are.

Not all SLI girls have a slim body, I know a few who are on chubby side. But I suppose SLIs find it easy to follow diet and such, and tend to be slim.

some form of technical writing or blogging, art or fashion industry, specifically graphic design, computer science, botany, marine biology, tattoo artistry, or any sort of handiwork that requires "steady hands", i'm sure they'd thrive as surgeons if they could fight their laziness long enough to pursue that path
