    Default Would you eat this?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escargot

My SO has brought this over from a late night shopping trip. As much as he tried to persuade me to eat some I couldn't bring myself to it, even today with some snails left over on the baking tray. Isn't this a garden pest? How does anyone eat it? Bleh!

Are there any dishes or foods you dare not try?

I don't really like eating molluscs in general, so probably not.

they're pretty good once you get over the fact that they're snails. the snail mindfuck + the kind of chewy/rubbery texture is the only weird part, once you get over that, the taste is pretty much all garlic and butter.

Snails are fine. It is Brussels Sprouts that are falsely presented as food.

    I would try them.

I'm also like the only person on the planet who likes brussels sprouts.

Please make that one of two. I eat them too!
Important to note! People who share "indentical" socionics TIMs won't necessarily appear to be very similar, since they have have different backgrounds, experiences, capabilities, genetics, as well as different types in other typological systems (enneagram, instinctual variants, etc.) all of which also have a sway on compatibility and identification. Thus, Socionics type "identicals" won't necessarily be identical i.e. highly similar to each other, and not all people of "dual" types will seem interesting, attractive and appealing to each other.

I'd eat anything. Heck, once I ate a stone by accident. Was very crunchy, lol.

It's been said we unintentionally eat the equivalent of 2 cockroaches per day. You know, tiny insect parts mixed in food, pretty hard to avoid.

Never in a million years. For the life of me I don't get how someone could want to eat something that looks bad, smells bad and feels bad going down your throat. I mean, the only reason I eat food is for the pleasure. Where is the pleasure in that? Give me a steak instead.

yeah lol but I just couldn't get over the texture or the fact that it's a snail. I would just rather eat steak covered in garlic and butter lol.

from watching indiana jones and the temple of doom, i considered all the terrible foods at the banquet. monkey brains went waaaay too far. no way. ever.

i am willing to try snails.

another criteria: animal food really needs to be dead for me to try it unless there is some serious incentive.

after you've persuaded yourself that it's only garlic and butter and swallowed one ... in that moment as you feel it going down your throat, the mind-control slips and a disturbing thought dashes through your mind: "SNAIL!!!"

    what is next? earth worms?
