British TV detective series set during WWII (and after, in subsequent series).

Foyle is a fairly straightforward LSI; I think Sam Stewart is probably a prim EII who happens to be good at driving and fixing cars. They don't really ever clash, I'm not sure what to make of that (it's as though they act in different realms). I like both characters very much in any case.

I don't really see any sort of introvert for her. She's pretty gluttonous as far as food is concerned and can't handle the rationing which makes me think maybe she's Si ego.

I think you make a good point about the rationing (as I understand, the ration was the same for men and women too). Good suggestions (typings) for me to think about.
