actually, yes, and possibly ESE. i've not watched Hercules in a long time, so your estimation of him may be more accurate than mine. i can see him as either, depending on interpretation.

Correct. Disney's portrayal of deities (and other mythological givens) is inaccurate in many other ways, Zeus is presented as a very tame and benevolent version. ESE is a good idea actually
