Like people who are into work politics, who's been somewhere the longest or has seniority, 'knowing how things work around here' and enforcing a bunch of implicit things that the manager probably doesn't even care about. Might criticize or be sensitive about people that they perceive as being aloof in some way, even if being extra social isn't necessary for the job at all.

I'm not just talking about an office setting, or a career place, but like people who'll do this at any job they're at.

I'm the best team leader of all time. I'm part of a extra-curricular group and I totally impose my way of doing things on other people. In the past I didn't do it much but as I've taken on more leadership I'm become more comfortable just being like "Whenever we're doing X, you need to do A, B and C," and making sure people do it. I'm still trying to figure out if I'm being overly micro-managing or if it's necessary. My ESE friend also comments how she feels she's being too controlling of our meetings and stuff. I just endorse it.

However, I stayed almost four years on my last unit even though I hated it... mostly because I liked a few of the people and knew the dynamic it felt too sad to leave. ...Now I'm never in the same place twice..always around different people...and I like it so much more.... should've quit sooner.

Some people craft their identity around what they do. I think it would be far more likely of a Extravert. And maybe a rational, as EJ's are defined(in a few ways) by their outward actions. IP is the most likely to sit and stew over something, which is how you get those rich inner worlds. So i'd say its an EJ thing.

I'm not Gamma then. I don't consider socializing or politics a priority, but I guess I can vaguely seem like I embody that attitude since I'm usually serious about things that involve me in some way, or an area that I'm responsible for at a given time.

I think this is much more usual for rationals (especially EJ) and probably so/sp.

I could see this being an ESxj thing. The socializing part sounds Fe dom.

In my first week of college we (freshmen) were broken up into groups and had group leaders for a full week of doing "fun" activities and getting acquainted with the school. One of my leaders was an ESE. He openly voiced his discontent when I didn't attend every event and he would prod me with mild jabs for having what he perceived as a bad attitude and not being a part of the fun, spirited atmosphere. I still hate that guy.
