There really does seem to be so many arguments about who is what type and what kind of relationship they have with other types. It's been going on for as long as the forums have and longer still.

I think a lot of the difficulties and miscommunications lay in the different descriptions available and the different people within types identifying more strongly with specific descriptions.

There also seems to be layers/tiers of difficulty.

So a socionics cake may be like this...



Identifying with singular description (first tier)

Interpretation bias (second tier)

other peoples opinions and there influence (third tier)


If you then take a slice of that cake an offer it around it is not surprising that some people may be offended.
