I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

I daydram draily.
Si, my entire life is a daydream.
I'm Ne and I daydream....
Who doesn't daydream? You would just end up killing yourself from the reality of it all- even if you were some tough-nosed pragmatic entj ennagram 8 'I can handle everything in the real world, bro' type of person.

Between Richard (SiFe) and I:
Me: what do you daydream about?
Him: stuff
Me: what kind of stuff?
Him: stuff i like to daydream about.
Usually the conver goes:
Me: whatchya doing today? (Whatchya wanna eat for dinner?)
Him: stuff
Me: what kind of stuff?
Him: stuff I like to do. (Stuff I like to eat.)
Grumble grumble growl growl,
Edited to add: richard looked up the definition of daydream. He says that he doesn't blur out the rest of the world, he's almost always aware of it. And he doesn't usually imagine hopes and dreams. He says sometimes, maybe, he guesses. Basically, he's not excluding it, but can't recall doing it.
Edited to add 2: richard says he does think about the future and possible ways things can go, but he doesn't think about things that couldn't/wouldn't happen. Like he doesn't think about what it would be like to be president, or an astronaut nor anything like that. But he will think about things he has to do, or how to go about doing something (like how to chop down a specific tree, or how to fix a leak in the roof, etc).

Once upon a time, I divided daydreaming along the lines of Alpha and Delta, yes and Beta and Gamma, not so much.

Lol, yes, I'm sure. He got that response from some show he watched. He does that a lot, recites something from a show, or something he read. South Park and The Office quotes are quite common. It's like a game...I think I'm supposed to guess what show it is..or say the next line. I'm not really sure.

idk if I should admit this but I daydream of kinda violent stuff actually... like beating people up, like they will annoy/anger me in some way and I'll want to get this revenge. It's kinda dark and wrong I guess, if I ever hurt people in real life I feel horribly guilty but it's sort of like the only way to teach them a lesson. No wonder I'm a loser with little friends lol.
It's like I'm Angela from Sleepaway series and I have this cold dismissiveness to my voice and I will say something sizing up that person's personality flaws before I kill them.
This psychic I saw said that I was a thug in a past life and it actually makes sense, because there's always this tension I feel with other people and I hate it.
I daydream as well. I'm in my head a lot thinking of theories and structures for them.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
a thug.
I was probably an abandoned street dog in my past life.
I'm rough. ..
and scrappy.
Nope. I hope you daydream about tying people, though, Maritsa.
like 9/10 ths of the time.
