    Default which one?

okay so there's this big beetle in my backyard that's stuck on it's back... i tried to flip it over but it just keeps twitching around until it ends up back on it's back. which do you consider the more "humane" way to deal with it, killing it to put it out of it's misery (which assumes that it's in misery) or letting it go it's natural course to death (however long that may take)?

I ended up letting it be... idk... like maybe it's got some stuff to work out before it dies...

i know... it's silly personifying a bug like that, but i can't help it.

I think you made the right choice, killing it will prevent it from having an awesome DMT trip anyways if you want to get really deep about it.

    Few pointers:

It is unclear whether insects feel pain or get the DMT trip Raver spoke of.
