It's not a rule that members have to take threads seriously and/or critically, though this doesn't really accomplish anything but force a box upon someone without checking yourself and reassessing why that box should be there in the first place.
That said, ScarlettLux seems like a Decisive Ethical Extravert(EIE, SEE) to me, but if she weren't, the only Introverted type that seems likely is IEI. I'm in for Irrational, so SEE or IEI, in my opinion.

I made this sudden decision MDew, because Traveler met me and he thinks SEE > EIE. BTW he notices Fi valuing over Fe as the most obvious reason for it. I started reading SEE descriptions more carefully, etc... and I just think it really does describe me.

fwiw Gilly typed me as IEI before we met irl. You could be SEE. Personally, I haven't seen much from you that ever really said Fi to me though. I agree with Gul that you are probably a 3/4 and you have some image issues that you haven't worked out. I don't know what you're dealing with in life right now that makes you so, and it isn't my business. But I do think it is why some people react negatively to you on the forum.

Some IEI-Fes are really outgoing, sometimes even aggressive. They can be really active and busybodies. I suppose you could be EIE but SEE is way off IMO.
Re: what dolphin said, you two strike me very differently and my typing of her as IEI was more a diagnosis of elimination than anything, whereas when I saw pictures and videos of you in the past, IEI was the first type to mind.

There are a lot of misconceptions about Se's or even SEEs because of bad things that have been attached to them that have nothing to do with Socionics. SEE can be anything from shy and reserved to outspoken and loud, to mean and manipulative and kind and giving. Those things have nothing to do with Se. Se is mere perception, viewing, absorbing, taking in through the senses; this allows the person to be highly aware of reality, highly in the real world and their senses in it, observing colors, anything physical, that exists and then responding to people from their subjective emotional evaluations of what goes on in relation to them and others.

I'm not going to say you're not Fi, and I'm not going to say you're definitely Fe. Maybe you are Fi, maybe you aren't - but I haven't met you in the real world yet, and I know personas can be different via the virtual world compared to the real world. The only thing I know is, I don't have much trouble engaging with Fi types on this forum, where as you seem somewhat standoff-ish when I try to approach you. But I really can't use you not being very sociable towards me as an indicator of your type - that wouldn't be very valid. So, *shrug* if you say you're SEE, then we can go with SEE - until people meet you offline and get the real gist of your personality.

I have met SL recently a few days ago, so I'd like to offer my opinion. I think Se-SEE is the most likely type based on my interactions with her and with other people. She seems to valueand I think a lot of what is misconstrued as
. It was funny at the beginning of the night I thought she was EIE, but by the end of the night I thought she was SEE as I got to know her better. I will not rule out another type, but it was pretty obvious upon meeting her that she is extraverted and ethical. So that leaves EIE as a possibility, but there is no way she is an IEI as I can assure you that she is not introverted at all.

Yes pretty much that plus where they derive their energy from. Is it from within or from the outside world? Some people may be difficult to determine whether they are extraverted or introverted, but for other people it can be pretty obvious if all the evidence points towards it.

To Te-valuers, the accuracy of the statement made isn't necessarily as important as the credibility of the person making the statement. Even if you're right, Gilly, the fact that you wobble between types devalues your opinion in this case. For me, I type-switch too, but the difference is that I don't go around telling someone else that they can't be a certain type.
SL, I can see SEE.But really, you remind me of someone on my business team, also who I type SEE, who also doesn't smile very widely in pictures. I get an Fi-vibe from you, of course with the Se. You like to challenge people. EIEs come across more like they enjoy influencing people, imo, and can use Ni in a way that borders manipulative.
I don't see that from you at all. Furthermore, I feel 75%+ people on this forum confuse Fe with high emotionality. That's why I can come across ESE-ish to many people, which might not necessarily be the case. SL, when I see you become emotional, it's more in a REACTION to what someone else has said. You don't PROACTIVELY influence the emotions of other people, or cheer people up, or show any desire to do so. You seem to simply want to stand your ground.
TLDR: Back off Gilly, and I vote SEE.
