    Default Type Databases

This is not a database of type databases, but a thread on type databases.

Currently the only ones that seem to exist are (1) http://sss.info-esta.ru/ and (2) http://types.socionics.co/ . The latter I suspect more of blatant inaccuracies for the lack of outside perspectives during the typing process; the typings are from a homogenous source of viewpoints.

With the existence and use of (2), I was thinking (1) should be acknowledged as well, since a comparative approach would be best when it comes to a perspectivist subject like Socionics.

    Poisoning the well much?
In regards to the accuracy of http://types.socionics.co/, I'm free to have my suspicions, and I claim them no more then that. In terms of homogenous viewpoints, I refer to the frequent collaborative bubble that occurred on the http://forum.Socionix.com site.

If you find fault in my approach, you could point out where I could improve for impartiality. However, the objective of the thread is to bring up another site to compare with instead of having only one source of opinions to refer to, more energy spent towards this is appreciated, rather than focusing on the form of the OP.

Thnx for link to http://types.socionics.co/ - i've added to my bookmarks

See also http://socioclub.spb.ru/index.php?op...web&Itemid=215 (russian interface only) - project of Saint Petersburg Open Socionics Club

Hint: SSS has russian interface by default, but registered users can switch to eng.

    Thanks for the link.

Also, registration at SSS seems to be broken. Can you confirm if it is operational?

The typings here are highly consistent in terms of behavioral pattern and overall temperament for one, imo. The only people I've heard having trouble with some of them are those who haven't gone that extra step to compare the similarities of each type side-by-side and additionally spent time to understand the intentional cognitive processes of the subjects involved, by making interpretations to Jung and back to the empirical data about the types presented in their underlying cognitive processes, represented in their intentions and demeanor, etc. You can easily begin to witness the types just in their visual manifestations alone, using this and its VI resource as well. It's the most intuitive list there is.

Consistency, in your opinion, does not really substantiate the typings; you are not infallible, no one is, so your opinion is ineffectual. As for the comparing you speak of, that is what this thread promotes, however, as I said, in such a perspectivist subject like Socionics it's best to have heterogeneous sources of data for comparison, regardless of http://types.socionics.co/ 's actual accuracy. If you have nothing else but subjective opinions to contribute, you can turn to seeking out other type database websites, if you still intend to be constructive.

    Here's more:

    http://www.famo.ru/etalon/

    http://typelab.ru/ru/celebr/

    http://www.socionics.com/advan/famous.htm

The second could serve as a V.I. Database also but all the pictures are down.
