Why are people such suckers for operatic singers on reality shows? It always seems like people who watch or attend these shows want to think of themselves as cultured and educated, so when they hear Nessun Dorma for the twelfth time they go "oh hey, Opera. That's what real art is supposed to look like, hooray real art!" The singer had poor pitch control and breathing technique, but nobody who watches would realize because they don't know how opera is supposed to sound.
