Anyways, it's funny because the way you sang it sounds like a fragment from a musical, not a pop rock song. I'd be compelled to write a piano and strings (+ percussion and some bells & whistles) arrangement for this thing. why do you think that the guy from the video is SLI ? or were you refering to the lyrics only?
I somehow can't see him being ST.. Besides he seems to be pretending someone he is not, while the girl is natural, unpretensious, pleasant to watch and I can see IEE for her easily.
