    Default More highdeas

A while back ezra asked if bodybuilding was a TeSi way of life. Bodybuilders are known for non functional strength compared to other forms of lifting and the aesthetic has gone extreme over the years.
Several paralel analogies popped into my head and a question was posed who's nature is hidden within my questions.
What is the hidden connection here?
Bruce Lee Vs Bulky body builders
Japanese Tuner Imports vs American Muscle Cars
    Nascar vs F1
North Vs South? Possibly clouding my point.
Flexibility is limited. Irrationality is not respected or the dominant way.

Bruce Lee was still a bodybuilder. He just focused a certain way (in addition to being limited by genetics). He's considered an "innovator" among bodybuilders. He was creative and meticulous in focusing on the most minor muscles, when others were not. He experimented with bulking up as well (his typical weight was in the 140 area..but I believe at one point got up to 170.. and only cut down because the tradeoff in speed wasn't worth it). He'd keep certain areas bulked for power though. For example, the forearms..

I'm sure none of this applies to your overall point though.

Bodybuilding for no reason but aesthetics sounds Beta.

    What are you implying?
    (i)NTFS

An ILI at rest tends to remain at rest
and an ILI in motion is probably not an ILI

    Nascar vs F1

I think this one is clouded too. It isn't some difference between form over function, or finesse vs power, at least. Nascar is kind of defensive heavy.. keeping a pace without being wrestled out of the way or maneuvering into positions so your opponent doesn't get to draft ahead of you. It still takes a lot of finesse.

I think its possibly quadra rotation that I'm looking at. Strength gives way to speed (possibly Ti to Te or a rational to irrational) in several cases (due to innovation?)
