    Default Socionics Demystified

I wish to further my knowledge of socionics beyond the conceptual understanding I have with it currently, and thus I am considering ordering a copy of the book Socionics demystified

    A link here
    http://www.fishpond.com.au/Books/Soc...cs+demystified

However before I do, I was wondering if anybody here has read it. Is it a trustworthy/reliable source?

The main reason I ask this, is that I'm having trouble finding good infomation beyond wikisocion on the internet. Further, I am reading conflicting ideas on these forums. (Mainly to do with it's application and how infomation elements manifest in reality)

So do I bother with it? Or do I look elsewhere?

    yeah, I read it.

it's not really good, but written by an LII so you might find it useful.

next to that, he uses a lot of stuff that is freely available on the internet.

He also uses function descriptions instead of complete descriptions of the types. something I don't like.

I came acroos this in a bookshop in London and gave it a five minute read, from what I recall it was a little too sensational for my taste and placed an emphasis on finding a partner.

    I prefered the Filatova book.

May be worth getting both if you can afford it I suppose, just for comparisions.

I'll give demystified a read, if I don't like where it goes, then I'll have a look at Filatova.

Thanks for bringing an alternative to my attention.
