Lol I never said I had proof. I just said what I think, which is really all I have to go on. All we have on this is what we think and what other people think; there is no proof.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

No it's fine, it actually helps me understand things better so no worries. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I never thought of LSI as 'insouciance'...?

You should look at my material on quadra progression. That might help you make your decision.

    Insouciant*

They aren't blithe by definition, but I'm just talking about a particular vibe I tend to pick up from Betas. I'm not saying LSIs are all insouciant, or even that you are; it's just a vibe, a snapshot of a part of you that I think I can see. Don't know what else to tell you.

And you're right about 'insouciance' (i had to google that you know, no clue what it meant). I am definetly that for whatever it's worth

Not to derail too much, but I think quadra differences are way more complicated than they're often presented. There's parts of Beta I like - and despise - and the same can be said for Delta. It's going to be hard for some people to fall in place neatly with any stereotypes at least.

Also I wrote a thread about the Matrix that is a bit less relatable, but more detailed in terms of describing the quadra's concrete roles in archetypal events:

I think I also have a thread about it at socionix, but my work computer has some beef with the login system over there so I can't find it; if I remember I'll post it when I get to my comp later.

So Neo's Se/Ni, you think? I thought he was LII or EII . At least he seemed like it in the beginning Oracle seemed Delta too. Morpheus seemed to be the big Se/Ni element. Neo goes for some wider, less divisive solution in the end.

This is probably all beside the point about the actual story progression though.

Well Neo is a tough one to type. Keanu Reeves is blatanty some Ne dominant, probably ILE-Ti, but the archetypal role of his character is IEI-Ni. Trinity seems rather LSI, and activity seems to fit the general pattern of their relations. He's a Mary Sue in some ways so he's not very easy to type, but archetypally, he's IEI-Ni.

lol EIE ?? People just piss me off a lot and I'm okay with vocalizing that when need be. You wouldn't dare call me EIE had you met me IRL...i'm not sure if you were joking or not lol

Gilly, I'm gonna read up on those soon, thanks.

Maybe you're right, and I'm just projecting that archetype on EII. Personally, I am forever dozing off at my computer, searching for the Matrix. I'm an INFP in MBTI, but a lot of Beta seems out of touch with how I see ethics. Since we were discussing stereotypes, I keep picturing these turbulent individuals as IEI. Like Rimbaud or Nietzsche or something along those lines. And like Neitzsche, they seem to champion the worst elements of SLE stereotypes. He even made a philosophy out of it. Personally, I have and will start fights with some people who fit a kind of alphamale meathead stereotype. Some people like that are pretty cool (like we were discussing Mike V in that one thread), but I often wouldn't see them as my duals. It's hard to respect some enough to even argue. I always try to find it in myself to fight them instead.

Believe it or not, LSEs fit that meathead stereotype just as often, if not moreso, than SLEs.

Jessica does not need to state any "solid reasons" to you and the only "proof" should be which type SHE identifies with the most, and which types she feels the most comfortable with.

Doesn't mean she can't also get along with people of other quadras. Heck, i can talk for hours with a couple of beta NFs here and feel fondly towards them.

First of all, bitch, it's not about me. All I'm saying is that she should consider LSI; in case you haven't noticed, I'm not pretending to know shit beyond my own opinion. I happen to believe that opinion, and so I represent it, but I'm not trying to force shit on her, so there isn't anything she has to do for me, or vice versa.

you seem to be the only one here forcing Jessica towards a type. And no need for utilizing foul language here, just because i am hindering your efforts to force your opinion onto someone (actually onto multiple people here).

Oh? And who am I forcing my opinion on?

Hey Jess, am I forcing my opinion on you? Does it feel that way?

    Who else? Show of hands?

How about some quotes where I'm beinng "forceful?"

so in other words, by saying so in regards to my comment that I get along with people from my opposing quadra, your assertion is that people shouldn't be able to get along with people from other quadras?

It's not an "unfalsifiability claim", and it's not meant to discount anyone's typing. It's just reality.

Yes, but it's something that's taken for granted; nothing is a one-to-one correlation in socionics, but little things like getting along with someone are pieces to a larger puzzle that you have to try to put together. You can't just throw out evidence because it's not definitive; that's retarded. It's not even related to anything I'm basing my claims on, anyways; your argument is not only uneducated, it's also completely out of the blue and has nothing to do with anything in this thread except to be a quasi-conciliatory discouragement for further discussion.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Yes, not sure what that has to do with anything though.
