the examples she gives could just as easily be explained as exemplifying the opposite combination of introversion/extroversion. her approach embraces obfuscationism and subjective analysis.
this illustrates that using shallow qualifiers is often actually more useful than trying to understand it all perfectly and reaching the identity of the process at a hidden level that can only be reached through inference and interpretation.
edit: this may have been a little too harsh and condemning. I think if you accept her argument that extroversion/introversion can not always be read from shallow characteristics, you do fine if you realize that typing by subjective interpretation also has it's issues, i.e. don't immediately swing to the opposite extreme position.

It's pretty much as jung explained it, and I like it.
Her voice is weirdly annoying to me, but the information in it is great. Helps understand how extraverted I am, although the examples don't seem particularly fleshed out enough to be 100% foolproof.

At first I thought the video was one of those text-to-speech generators, so I was really surprised to find that it was a real person speaking.
I'm actually somewhat familiar with Vicki Jo, I ambled onto her site that delineates between INFP and INFJ back when I was first trying to get a self-type down (not completely understanding the differences between MBTI and socionics). I do like how she sources Jung a lot.
EDIT: Her type I'm honestly not sure about. She seems too 'proper' and self-composed to be INFp, but eh. Still seems very Fe though.

I like her. I didn't see what was wrong with her voice. I feel like I understand intro/extro processes better now. The way she illustrated the field/object dichotomy by an example (merging vs matching) helped me immensely. And her quote by Jung that there are no pure introverts or extroverts..and how the functions are "at war" with each other. I've always felt it was something like that. I think doing a comparison/contrast of different types ego functions would give insight into the nature of types.
I read that passage in Psychological Types about how functions are at war with each other, but I came to the conclusion that he meant intro/extro variations of one type of cognition, meaning Te vs Ti, Se vs Si, etc and not just introversion and extraversion themselves. This sort of thing makes sense imo if you consider how Fi egos will see Fe as something of a much less important secondary process and all that jazz. I could have read it wrong though. Definite agreement here about how there are no pure extroverts and introverts.
I'm tentatively deciding on INFp for her.
That's interesting, and I could see how Xe/Xi etc. could be at war within a person, but I was referring to the ego functions. Comparing and contrasting which qualities a respective type's ego functions share and which they do not, could give insight into the nature of that type.
I dislike her. There used to be a thread with a video of her posted. She really manages to make me dislike her just from the way she sits, not to mention how she talks.
