I should be an ILI, I fit all the dichotomies and every description sounds like me. But because of my nature I will not vote. I don't want to be held down to obligation. For heaven's sake, my new years resolution was to not have a new years resolution for next year.

I don't make resolutions. They are stupid. I have lots of things I could make resolutions about -- maybe I should stop drinking so much, I'll find some regular employment, I'll quit smoking, etc. None of it ever works. Face it, I'm a chain-smoking alcoholic who is their own boss and likes it that way. Who cares if I am clinically depressed and at risk of committing suicide before I'm 30? I love me, goddamn it.

edit: wow this has nothing whatsoever to do with the thread at all, does it?

Resolutions exist as a way to commit ourselves to changing the things about us that are hardest to change. It resides in the hope that through this one last commitment one can finally change that which one never seemed capable of changing on one's own. The problem is that the resolution is still self-formed, and no matter how many people you tell about your resolution, no matter how much social pressure you put yourself under to maintain it, it's still a resolution coming from YOU, the source of the problem. That's the problem with resolutions. Maybe the social commitment helps; perhaps it's the idea that resolutions are final and absolute that helps. Unfortunately, most of the time none of that shit helps at all. But you never give up hope of changing...that's exactly how you prevent change.

    Anyway I'm probably INTj.

I never understood resolutions, because if it's worth doing, shouldn't you already be doing it no matter what time of year it is? Because it's January 1st, you suddenly have more strength and willpower? Hmm... I guess this makes me a bit of a killjoy.

I keep forgetting that ThanksArthur types himself SEI. It's weird because I can usually catch onto others' self typing, but my reaction to him is so strong I guess. Heh, I'm probably the only one.

    I didn't bother with resolutions.

I voted EII, naturally. I was expecting more than just a poll, having been spoiled to the gamma/delta censuses (censi?).

The only resolutions I make are ones that I would probably do even if I didn't make a resolution.

Also you'll never guess how I voted

If Labcoat votes, I wonder what he will vote as. I think the dyslexic members should also vote even if they don't like the theory ;P.

That's the same as a vote as far as I'm concerned ;P.

Been voted ILI this year, so for ILI I shall vote as well. I kinda feel like a representative or something.

Quick, someone contact Yellow via Facebook or whatever other information she left. Cracka would do as well, if you know how to reach him.

No I did not. Plus I'm still in my information gathering phase. It's been a couple years, give it a few more. I like it slow and easy.
