Certainly a possibility, and one which I haven't written off entirely. But tbh, even if that is the case... I don't care. He's the first person I've ever met who can keep up with me, who is capable of properly handling me. He not only knows how I'm feeling when I don't, but also why and what to say about it to resolve the situation. I travel like 30 times the speed of life ("speed of light"... haha). And he responds well to being reminded of this. I think this is what the SLE/IEI description is referring to when it mentions that sometimes the SLE puts the IEI "to shame". It's not really shame... it's more like "so make it happen, it's not like there's nothing you can do about it". I've also not seen evidence of Ne seeking from him. He seems to have that area covered (though it's not something he talks about unless I'm bringing up various possibilities and he's telling me not to worry so much).
Also possible. He does have a long history of thrill seeking behavior. Less likely to get himself killed or permanently injured now that I'm around though. And wth... at least he's actually living. That's more than I can say about most of the people I know.

Does anyone else find this uncomfortable? Joy showing her new bf in front of discojoe? I dont know. It's odd to me. I'm not saying it's a ploy to make him jealous or something but it just feels strange. I dunno. I couldn't imagine posting pics of some guy I was in a relationship with knowing my ex was going to read it unless i wanted to get him back super bad or make him super jealous. But then again, I don't know what your relationship was like or how it ended. It's just odd to me. Sort of uncomfortable. lol.
Joy's hallmark is complete lack of consideration for other people.
For instance, waking me up with a 3 AM call asking me about what to do with some clothes I left in Wisconsin, even though I had to wake up in three hours to go to work. She just doesn't fucking think.
I'm quite certain it's not. but she's right that many MANY people wander through their lives in a trance.
If it wasn't a jab at me, then it was just more overall cluelessness on her part.
Also, if she's still taking adderall, it's a joke to lecture other people on "living" when she's jacked up on speed all the time. I don't know if she's taking it, however.

PoLR isn't something any healthy person completely ignores, the way she seems to. I always ask myself if there's some other possible explanation before I get all judgmental. Likewise, Joy should tone down the narcissistic impulsiveness and ask herself if she's being inconsiderate.

Joy, keep giving us new material about his personality from your observations. Have you considered Fe as possibly a role function, switching with Te, that mostly evaluates how you or anyone performs something and gives them advice on how to improve things?

No can do for a few reasons:
1.) A lot of people here are idiots and will try to argue with anything I post, so there's really not much of a point because it'll just make a mess.
2.) It's personal.
3.) I have no intention of spending nearly enough time here for that.
4.) I don't want this relationship to be all about Socionics. It's a great thing and I don't want to dissect it too much. (I may write that SLE/IEI duality description that people were asking me to write at some point, but I've got a few irl projects that need my attention first.)

Well, I've been giving SEI some serious thought, but at this point, the Ni dominance is quite apparent. IEI it is. Perhaps not the most typical representation, but IEI nonetheless.
