I meant in Quadra progression/regression terms, but this is pretty cool too. What do you think about EIE or IEE Zidane? I can't help but thinking of his story about Ipsen (basically, "abstract story with a meaning") and thinking that that was a moment of pure and unbridled Ne.

Also, why ILE for Quina? Why not SEI? On a related note, since he's a vaguely similar character, Gau of FFVI?

Well if you've typed Kuja then you've already heard the Ipsen story yo. It's when Zidane and Dagger are under Madain Sari, I think.

I think his relationship with Vivi was the best part of the story. Between Vivi and Dagger, Zidane definitely does strike me as being "The Mentor" quite a bit. Not that this really disqualifies ESE, since I could see one of my ESE homies being a Zidane equivalent.

Hmmm. He seems too carefree for an EIE, not really contemplative, angsty, elitest, philosophically inclined, etc. He doesn't really have any hallmarks of an Aristocrat; he has the stereotypically Democratic appeal of being a charming guy with a kind of appealing equalitarian charisma, just sort of living his life until he gets swept up into things that didn't really have anything to do with him until he got in over his head, which is sort of a typically Alpha hero story.

Quina is way too blithe and self-insistent to be SEI. He is just kind of this heedless glutton, assuming people will feed him just for the sake of it and not even considering no as an answer. Massive fucking Si seeking gone completely awry with an 8 wing, lol.

I liked Beatrice a lot, so SLE makes sense for her. And I also liked Ruby too!

And lol @ Vivi being a stereotypical IEI. Yeah... Steiner is annoying and fat, LSE is perfect for him.

Final Fantasy games seem to enjoy ej male-ij female dualities. Cecil and Rosa are the same thing , either entj/isfj or esfj/intj. Cecil is probably an esfj more than an entj though...

Eiko is an obvious EIE, IMO; if not, then SEE.

EIE. EIEs, we like each other but it's more surprising, with an IEI and SEE it's more earthy-feeling or something, and it's less of a 'shock' with them.

The EIE you kinda expect them to be rude cause they have a clashing temperment, but they're actually quite sensitive and probably agree with you mostly. With an IEI and SEE, both are 'intriguing' and different enough for a lot of romantic and sexual chemistry, but the pain and disconnect is surprising and with an EIE, the likeability is surprising.

I'm playing FF4 again now. I'm addicted.

Cecil is LSE. It's apparent in how he takes on things by himself. Also recall how mindlessly he followed the king's orders. Only an LSE could do that, I think, because it demonstrates beta Ni PoLR.

The first half of the game is basically a chronicle of Cecil's learning to grapple with and master his PoLR function. Cecil demonstrates planning ability at multiple occasions, although only in an auxiliary capacity.

Oh, and recall how oblivious he was to Rosa's desire to be with him? "Cecil, Rosa wants to be with you. Can't you see that?"

I agree that Golbez is LIE. Porom is EII... Zemus was EIE. (genocide, anyone?)
