This is something someone else pointed out to me, and I find this to be true. Here is my take:
Tip #5: Realize if you are actually desperate and needy. This is where most guys go wrong imo. Men show desperation when they are always trying to hang around the chick, always trying to joke around with her in ways that are not funny, etc, etc, etc. If you are doing anything like this: stop. Acting needy shows weakness, and weakness in men is a turnoff to women (unless she is a controlling biatch).
My solution to this is not to focus on women at all. Go about your business and if you just happen to see a woman you like (or just lustfull), get the whole thing moving with her by the first interaction you have with her. Women like it when you are the kind of guy that know what he wants right away. If she is not into you, she is not into you. If she is only slightly into you, then you should only be slightly into her, etc. etc. etc. You get the point.
