I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. that's just it, the differences are not all that stark, but more subtle.
SEI and SLE can come across in a similar way...but SEI is going to be more emotionally expressive i would guess. SLE is more needs/motives focused. i guess Se + Ti (apprehension of people's capabilities & needs, hidden logic) and Si + Fe (hidden apprehension of people's internal comfort, outward emotions and mood) could superficially seem similar when presenting side by side.
ILE and IEI i can comment on more from practical experience. both types are kind of spaced out. with IEI the Ni + Fe produces an open congenial facial expression. the valuing of Ti interacts with the Ni to produce some detachment. with ILE the Ne produces a similar facial expression though not as emotionally nuanced. the Ti is more hidden at first....but the valuing of Fe plus the Ne leading produces an open expression.
at least from what i have seen. infpman and i have to work hard to notice things in the environment sometimes. i would say i'm a little better at it than he is....he is better at noticing what's going on socially.
you can mistake your lookalike for your dual. and you can seem similar to your illusionary in some ways.
