That's what I was thinking. I've been told this just about every single day all of a sudden and I really never thought of myself as that way. I must have a very messed up perception of myself. It's only been said from one person but still. I get accused of being high all the time.

Any IP, I'd guess. People often call me spacey, especially when I'm really relaxed.

You can't type yourself as an individual just on basis of what type is most likely to seem spaced out.
I know 2 ESFp's who seem spaced out.
In my estimation, this is most frequently said to the introverts + intuitives (i.e. IEI, ILI, EII, and LII).

SLI's look stoned quite often. Not really spaced out, but stoned. Could be the same thing also. As far as spaced out then yeh, ILI and IEI comes to mind first.

I don't know if this is type related, but my former boss asked me if I had been doing drugs over the weekend. I told him no and went on to say that most people agree that I look out of it quite a bit.

yes. I'm guessing more with Ni than with Si leading although I'm sure they could get that too. I know a couple SEIs and they're less dreamy although they do sometimes seem like they're in their own world, it also feels like they're looking around at their surroundings more than I do.

I think she's more of an ILI... but IEI isn't necessarily a bad typing for the Ni leading aspect of it, good call.
Yeah, people should realize that its "dynamic" on the inside, not much at all on the outside, but the IMs can be better defined in English, not this code. And I agree with spaceyness, unawareness, for Ni dominant, and also Ne creatives. Like logos said, it is mostly an introvert thing, and secondarily an intuitive thing. Ni > TFi > Si, I'd approximate.
dominant is technically perception, but unlike for an IJ, it blocks out sensory perception in the case of inner intuitive perception.

You know, I could see Ne creatives coming off that way too, but I don't think it's to the same extent of Ip's.
I guess it's hard to judge how you look to other people, but the LII's and EII's I've been around tend to have this sort of outside awkwardness/nervousness/timidity that makes them look a bit more "alert", I guess, than Ni dominants (I guess that's due to an Se PoLR...?)

Yeah, Ni Ip types can have a dreamy look to their eyes like they aren't paying attention to what's around them, and Si Ip types can have a just "out of it" stoned look.

I'm usually not paying attention to what is going on around me. It's very common for me to get involved in a conversation and need to ask "wait, what was any of this about?".
The me type. But more seriously, intuitive types, and especially Ni-leading types.

IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.
