He should take more care of his looks.
Ein neuer Mann
I think ILI is a distinct possibility.
Sadly he's a ILI or LII who's going insane.
He despises and (rejected a million dollar prize), loves classical music and people taking care of him ( and ) --> alpha NT

I don't know not even a single ILI who would present himself in such a idealistic way, just by seeing his looks, he obviously cares more about what is going on inside his head than what is going on in the social tissue. It's not only about obliviousness and carelessness about his appearance, it seems he wants to look disgraceful on purpose, for mocking and defying society's values that he judges as meaningless. Look at the way he looks to us from the photo, it's a defiance stare at common people's mediocrity and ordinary minds, typical behavior of NT's against their SF conflictors and super-ego types. He obviously seems to be proud of the uniqueness of his mind, his originality. All this, in my opinion, points against ILI and in favor of LII. Yes, I really think he might be an LII. Don't you guys see how infantile is this attitude he has against the Sensory-Ethical component of society? Against the SEE side of worlds' life? Don't you see how infantile, frivolous and superficial he is in his social critic and social behavior? He has to be an alpha.
I've never read a single line of text about him, this is the first time I hear about this guy, I may be mistaken, I'm judging by his picture, and solely.
Ein neuer Mann
I think NT is a good bet.
"He always checked very, very carefully. He was not fast. Speed means nothing. Math doesn't depend on speed. It is about deep ."
--probably introverted?
This is an interesting point. He said 'I'm not interested in money or fame. I don't want to be on display like an animal in a zoo.
'I'm not a hero of mathematics. I'm not even that successful, that is why I don't want to have everybody looking at me.' (subdued maybe)
Although it could just mean that he's totally oblivious to . Alexander Grothendieck also turned down a math prize and I think he's a Beta NF. But then again, Grothendieck was trying to make a point about the corruption of the math community.
There really isn't much info about his personality available.

Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?
I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

He reminds me of Wittgenstein. Who was born into one of the richest and most powerful families in his day, but gave his money away to his family and worked as a gardner's assistant and primary school teacher.
