    Default Embarrassing Identicals

Post examples of people that you type as your identicals despite that you wish they weren't and you have difficulty admitting that they are.

You can vary on the theme and post "embarrassing duals" or "embarrassing activies" aswell.

I don't care if the people being typed are fictional as long as they are realistic depictions of a type.

    South Park's Butters, INTj:

(will probably be called ENTp or ENFp by some. I think he is generally quite headstrong and individualistic, not making concessions and getting in trouble for it, which supposedly is an INTj theme. Seems very weak to Se that way. If people want to call him ENTp, I'll just call him embarrassing mirror.)

    Project Runway's Tim Gunn, INTj:

(probably a controversial typing. I think the guy is obviously IJ and generally very unconventional and weird. I admit that he has Se-ish tendencies but they can be explained by IJ type + general arrogance)

    Scrubs' Ted, INTj:

    That 70s show's Bob, ISFp:

(this is pretty much the only time in the show he talks in that Se-ish way)

Some guy from a commercial on television in my country (actor is awesome, though), ISFp:

An embarrassing person - someone you generally don't want to be associated with publicly due to their behavior that you find capable of ruining your carefully built social persona.

    Yes, so true --

and (cringe) i'm afraid she is my EII identical (subtype Ne) but with severe god-complex issues-

    ----

I love Tim Gunn... when I watch him talking in that video...I want to run up, tackle him to the white canvas (interrupting his nice proper speech), & give him a giant mushy-bear hug!! --

then, I will let him regain composure.... proceeding to pick apart my every biological (& fashion) flaw and ...yet... I would not give a damn! ;-)

    Tackling is fun, ya know!

I think identicals in general can be kind of embarrassing because we have a better idea of why they're acting the way they are and it gives us an idea of how much our flaws show through. That's one reason it's usually more fun to be around dual / activity and even mirror.

    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
