    Default Alpha Census

Because I'm dual-hunting and looking for any ESEs to out themselves there's a similar form in the Delta Quadra that seems to be running rather well, I thought I may as well making a comparable thread in here for activity, bad jokes, and quadra jingoism.

While there's no official form for this 100% Obligatory Census for ALL ALPHAS, I'll start with myself and anyone here can feel free to copy it or feel arrogant enough to think that they can create a superior format.

    Type: ILE

Enneagram: 7w8 (7>9>8 to be exact)

Age: 24, but I feel old as fuck (A lady I met a while ago mentioned to me that "You have the mind of a 2000 year old man!")

    Gender: Male

Hobbies: Space exploration, education, and technology, computers, graphic design, web design, fashion design, eastern plus western philosophy, psychology, sociology, biking, photography, film-making, archery, swimming, dream interpretation, creative business marketing, a little poetry, learning about animal/insect species, cinema, camping, drawing, fixing stuff, hiking, swimming, tinkering with electronics, cooking, video games (I will own you in Q3A and StarCraft), music (of all kinds), snowboarding, baseball, model rocketry, paper airplanes, piano, traveling to new places; I especially love getting lost. I don't know why, it's just fun to get out of situations like that. The main thing I like hobbies is when something new comes out of it. For example, a new space vehicle concept, a new venture, a new photograph idea, a new biking route, a new movie, a new place to test out a paper airplane, a new dish etc. or mix it all up and take pictures of the paper airplane with a bug on it.

Why I'm here: To learn more about my dual.

lol comparing this census to the other quadra ones it's become apparent that Alpha quadra members are inherently less forthcoming with information concerning their weight. Further research into the matter led me to the culprit. An Alpha factory not far from here specializing in the hiring of ESFjs to provide free delicious cakes to other Alpha quadra members. You selfish pricks you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Hurry! Keep your hands where I can see them and hand over the cakes! Please? I'm so hungry... and don't know to bake...

Now that you mention it, what would half of a chore consist of? Doing a task halfway and then stopping? Or just doing the whole thing really sloppily? Or perhaps a single chore can be broken down into a sequence of smaller "centichores", and half a chore would be 50 centichores?

Once thing I've noticed with myself and other LIIs is that we can easily come up with several possible ways to interpret what someone may have meant by a certain saying. I've also found that LIIs will frequently ask for clarification: "What did you mean by ____________?" I think its because we want to know which of several interpretations the person we're communicating with meant.

What do these signs mean—, , etc.? Why cannot socionists use symbols Ne, Ni etc. as in MBTI? Just because they have somewhat different meaning. Socionics and MBTI, each in its own way, have slightly modified the original Jung's description of his 8 psychological types. For this reason, (Ne) is not exactly the same as Ne in MBTI.

Just one example: in MBTI, Se (extraverted sensing) is associated with life pleasures, excitement etc. By contrast, the socionic function (extraverted sensing) is first and foremost associated with control and expansion of personal space (which sometimes can manifest in excessive aagression, but often also manifests in a capability of managing lots of people and things).

For this reason, we consider comparison between MBTI types and socionic types by functions to be rather useless than useful.

We're firm believers in the idea of "types" here. As far as I'm concerned, there could be some type that manifests itself as "Aleksei" on forums and the two profiles I've seen are actually two individuals entirely unaware of each other.

Rather far-fetched, I'll admit, but I had to check.

I feel we should have a Christmas-themed Census: we all leave for our home town, find an inn which has internet access, and then log on and respond to the poll. Person who logs on in the worst hotel gets to be the next leader of Socionics.

Sounds reasonable! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_Wh...81937_film%29? Woah, Walt Disney looks completely different to what I'd expect on the page.

That's an insane self-description , why do you think you're "Chaotic Evil"? I thought no one was really evil these days.
