Perhaps it'd be good for you to learn that each type encompasses a wide variety of personality traits. Yes, my personality is different than yours--certainly, we express ourselves differently in writing; however, this does not equate to us being different Sociotypes.And, your posts are chock full ofHA imo.

Although I've found that the internet is a terrible predictor of how people will interact (i.e. 'get along') in real life, I'll tell you honestly that I've met plenty of betas I don't like. (Granted most of my friends are beta, some are gamma, none are deltas and only two are alpha INTjs.) There are ignorant and annoying people of every quadra and type--even my own. This is what I think about you. That is, I can tell you're a beta, but I don't want to waste much more time talking with you.
These "you're not beta" things have arisen b/c I've called out Nick on misunderstanding Socionics... In other words, it's a few people whose motives in Sociotyping me aren't pure, (b/c of what I've said criticizing their understandings of Socionics,) and have indulged their own (various) psychological problems in responding to me on an internet forum... Also, as I wrote above, they tend to mistype ENFj as ENFp anyway--this also factors in.
That's what it is... Reality... All I can do is recognize the reality... And frankly, it's other peoples' problem--not mine--so there's nothing I'm going to do about it, other than ask you to stop, (as I asked them.)
I believe in telling people things in a straight-forward manner. Not sugar-coating them.

The part you mentioned earlier about not being able to control your emotions, this is something i've seen people artribute to an Fe PoLR. Although apparently Fe PoLR is an aversion to displaying external emotions. I think that having poor control of ones emotions, outbursts that sort of thing, can be a result of upbringing and character rather than type.
You're mention of being good at science, math, being able to come up with theories. Well, you're a pretty clever guy, afaik one of the highest IQ's on the forum, so like I think Gilly mentioned, this could just be intelligence.
FWIW, sometimes in my life I think i've been like an ISFp, when things have been going well for me and i've had no worries in life, very pleasure/sense orientated, laughing a lot. Then who wouldn't be like that when everythings working out the way they've wanted? Other times I am like ISTp.
Maybe i'm ISFp or some other type, maybe you are INFp. For me it's like ISTp is my baseline type but I can sort of "behave" to put it in a very simplistic way like other types, dunno if that's something similar to you? But INXp is a good enough label I suppose, although I do think that you try to influence the emotional atmosphere in your posts a lot more than what i'd typically expect from an INTp fwiw, but i'm undecided, maybe you are just easily pissed off with what you see as others short comings.

I have realized I have been wrong for a long time, and that I am infact INFp-Ni. There are a few reasons I think I have been wrong...
1: I grew up in a home of emotional repression
2: I am strong with thinking, but that can be explained by Ti and being a very far end INFp-Ni
3: the intertype relations seem to match INTp. But looking at INFp, I can match those with myself in some circumstances as well. Ultimately I think the intertype relation is affected by me being very close to the INFp/INTp axis. Some ENFjs feel more like mirrors to me, others more like supervisors.. Asston feels like a supervisor, FDG feels like a mirror.. etc.
4: After reading the filatova INFp description without bias I realized many of the descriptors apply to my life. Especially if I examine myself behaviorally.. Less if I hold on to the ego I have. In that case, INTp describes me better. (On that note, I'm having a surge toward behaviorism recently)
5: I may end up explaining all this... (eventually) in a complex way using ratian socionics. (a branch of socionics which does not yet exist, but I am confident will someday). In that case, I may eventually reverse this typing .. (or actually, expand onto it so that I am both INTp and INFp in certain senses)
6: That is all

Rat is a good example of why "strong" and "weak" functions aren't so binary as many believe. He can be a bit overcomplicated with his Ti, but it's presense as a latent, yet active part of his psyche should be obvious. Perhaps his 5 wing and subtype bring this to the surface.
