He's fantastic. I've liked him ever since I saw him playing Archie Goodwin in the Nero Wolfe series.

LOL that's the series I was thinking of.
I know when most books make it to tv/hollywood they go to shit, but the Nero Wolfe novels are about the most spot on translation I've ever seen.
Not sure I'd type Nero Wolfe as EII tho

I do think LSE fits right on for Goodwin, and they seemed to complement each other quite well. Wolfe was the big picture thinker and held the morale behind each matter (NF), while Goodwin was his executor (ST). Wolfe's eccentric attitude towards wine and food is nothing but his Si super-id paranoia.
Having read the novels and everything, what type would you suggest for Nero Wolfe?

He's sort of a mashup character, but mostly he's a pretty domineering, very particular with his tastes, moodily infantile, recluse of a man. He does have a sort of professional/moral code he follows, but I wouldn't put him down as Fi ego. My guess would be more like Gamma rational.

but you're right, he's too fiery for an INFj. Se/Ni rational makes more sense.
