Rachel: EIE/ESE. My money's on ESE.

Finn: *decidedly* Si > Se. Feeling type over thinking type, NOT EJ. I think alpha or delta turns on Te or Ti. It's either SEI or IEE, and there's evidence for both. I doubt Ne-leading, so SEI's my bet. (but there's also some evidence for Fi > Fe).

Quinn is probably IEI. She's hot.

Puck is a stereotypical SLE.

Teacher (aka Fabrizio in Light in the Piazza): IEE

Jane Lynch: LIE? She's may very well be Te-leading rather than Se-leading, but she's way too cool to be an LSE. SLE is also a possibility (this is superficial type analysis, b/c I'm too lazy to get into functions right now). I suppose Fi-polr makes sense.

Stereotypical overweight "mammy" wise black woman character with vocal stylings co-opted from Pentacostal churches: typeless.

Also, I agree that my alpha and delta peeps tend to like the show better than betas and gammas. I think it's the general vilification of Se. (Also the whole Ne you can be whatever you want to be positive message bs. And the pretty singing. Pretty singing is Si, right?)


EDIT: Also, for the record, not all IEI's have little thin Brittney Spears voices like the Quinn girl. And some ESEs have tiny little cute Brittney Spears voices!

Schuester's wife: SEE reminds me of a more frenetic version of a maybe IEE girl I crushed on hard. Though back then I thought she might be LSE and I EII just because I 'd being around her.

Jane Lynch: someone sarcastically playing a type from an opposite quadra to a tee.

Brittany: excellent choreography and breathless braindead quips "recipes confuse me"

Santana: bitchy and goal oriented. LSI?

Ken Tanaka: makes me think LSE but sort of played idiosyncratically and not completely unsympathetically. Now that I'm thinking about it though, I'm not sure on santana or tanaka. They seem similar in a lot of ways.

I actually thought Mr. Shu could be some sort of Alpha SF, though I won't be unhappy with IEE. He reminds me of a more outgoing version of Adam just from the general vibe I get from him. Vague, I know :/

Agreed, except for Kurt, who I still think is SEI. Rachel's mom is also probably EIE. I'm pretty confident now that Kurt's dad is SLI. Jesse (i.e., Jonathan Groff) is probably also EIE. I think Wheelchair Guy is ILE. I'm not sure about his girlfriend.

Agreed, but after reading the Filatova descriptions the other day, I'm hesitant to rule out LII because she finds them to be slightly inclined to take careers as musicians. I still favor ILE as his typing, however. I'll take SEI for his girlfriend because of how responsive she is to his optimism and how much she attempts to open him up.

Its not entirely useless; Rachel was kind of a typecast, according to her audition (can't link it now, I'm on my mobile)
But she made a big deal out of the pianist messing up, being all dramatic and such
Then during her acting scene they started laughing, and she demanded they be serious because this was her serious part
So basically she was acting like Rachel without realizing
And Diana agron (Quinn actress) is definitely IEI- probably Ni subtype but I really don't know about IEI for Quinn
Finn - fe creative, I would guess sei but I don't see supervision for rachel and finn
Sue - SLE?? I don't know. Sometimes I wonder if she is EJ but.. Nothing fits!
Will - I used to think IEE, but lately been wondering if EII is more likely? Episode Brittany/Britney he is accused of being too rigid which, correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't seem to be a problem for IEEs, right?
Emma - EII. Definite Se PoLR

Brittany - PoLR everything? Don't know if she can be typed
Santana - LSI could make sense but I don't know about her being duals with rachel?

I thought Sue might be an evil LIE. I don't know that she values Fe. But that could just be the result of an SLE who never got enough Fe in her life and therefore disdains what she cannot have. Actually, SLE is really the most logical typing. I sort of dislike the Quinn as IEI typing... it makes sense... but I really don't want her in my type. Where's the depth? Where's the Ni? You see the sort of "i'm not sure what I want, I can't make up my mind, I'm unsure about my own desires" thing, but what about the deep thinking often conditioned by Ni? I guess not every IEI is deep, but still...

i considered Sue being LIE too, but that would mean she would be semi duals with emma and she really isn't, she walks all over her. and emma, well, she has got to be EII. and if sue were SLE i guess that would explain her love for madonna, for being a powerful woman. also considered SEE and LSE.
i guess i just dislike that the show has such bad images of SLE's, with puck always just being the "bad boy" who only wants sex and sue, if she is SLE, then the coach who bullies all the children and her coworkers. but sue does have "some" morals, in a way, especially about her little sister.
and with quinn... i don't know. i guess it's possible. the show isn't really about her so we don't see what's going on with her as much as rachel or finn, or even kurt. maybe she was raised with delta/gamma parents and was taught not to be that way. she does seem to have a strange way of dealing with sue.. but she seems too calculative.

its not the 3rd season. Hello episode 13 was right after the glee clubs win at sectionals (season 1). i thought it was season 2 but season 2 starts september 21st. Glee's characters are rachel barry ( the star and dram queen of the glee club), Finn Hudson ( now rachels boyfriend usually sings the male lead), Artie ( stuck in a wheel chair good singer and likes tina).

I haven't really gotten into following the show but I've seen a bit of it now and again and I could see Sue as LIE. The show, IMO, is predominantly Alpha so it would make sense to have the nemesis character as someone who stomps all over their, mainly, like atmosphere
She really dose comes across as a Bill O'Reilly parody in sweats, and I think he could be LIE...
