Default What animal would you assign for each type?

Think of one that would embody a lot of that type's qualities/quirks. I can't think of one now though, hehe.

Crazedrat once suggested Eagles for INTj. I would second that suggestion.

Bunny? Yeah I think fox for SLI makes sense. But I like bat better. More shifty and hard to follow. When I'm in a better mood, the SLI can be a wild horse. But for now, a bat.

    SLI -- bat
    IEE -- puppy
    EII -- kitten
    LSE -- whale

SEE -- moose (but more like bullwinkle)
    ILI -- lizard
    LIE --elk
    ESI --turtle

    IEI -- unicorn
    EIE -- fish
    SLE --rhino
    LSI -- worker ant

    LII -- bird
    ILE --kangaroo
    ESE -- zebra
    SEI -- panda

wow, the quadras are very accurate...for crocodile, did you mean LSI? because that would fit; I think ESE is more of a hummingbird, SEE might be an eel, SLE is probably a komodo dragon, EIE a python, IEI a gliding lizard, EII a bat...

every animal I have encountered had a unique personality...

anyway, for thinkers...I like these (not sure about feelers):
    SLE - anaconda
    LSE - komodo dragon
    LIE - shark
    ILE - octopus
    ILI - owl
    LII - hummingbird
    LSI - wolf
    SLI - bear

    also:

    LSI - homo sapiens sapiens

    IEE - blue-footed booby

    infantile-caregiver: deep-sea angler

Finding a mate can be tough in the eternal darkness of the deep ocean, so when a tiny male anglerfish encounters a female, he clings to her body with his jaws for an extended period of time, and in some species, permanently. An enzyme is released to dissolve his lips, melting his face into the skin of his mate while he subsists on her blood. Eventually they will merge on the circulatory level, transforming the male into a body part of the female. His eyes, brain and other organs may gradually atrophy, leaving only the gonads to produce sperm as necessary.

    aggressor-victim: cimicidae

All Cimicidae mate through what is known as "traumatic insemination:" a female bedbug does not receive sperm through any particular opening, leaving the male to create one himself. In this case, the male cuts his way through the female's exoskeleton with a sword-like, needle-tipped phallus and releases sperm directly into the hemolymph or "blood." Females fight these violent advances as they would a predatory attack, as the wounds can be permanently crippling and easily become infected. In some species, females even fight back with their own identical weaponry, making them tougher for the males to identify and leading to what scientists have dubbed "penis fencing." Cruel though it seems to our human sensibilities, arrangements such as these ensure that only the strongest individuals will pass on their genes. Males must be tough enough to overcome the larger, more powerful females and females must be healthy enough to survive their wounds. It's no wonder these insects have adapted to most pesticides at an unprecedented rate, making a dramatic comeback where they were once thought to have been fully eradicated.

    Yeah, bear is better.

    EDIT

Heh, at the very least, Ishas and turtles can be alike. Both make me smile for no reason.

Anyway, funny anecdote about galapagos turtles... apparently people can park their cars on top of the sleeping turtles, who then wake up and walk off. That kind of ultimate self-centeredness surely must be SLI, right?

Projection is ordinary. Person A projects at person B, hoping tovalidate something about person A by the response of person B. However, person B, not wanting to be an obejct of someone elses ego and guarding against existential terror constructs a personality which protects his ego and maintain a certain sense of a robust and real self that is different and separate from person A. Sadly, this robust and real self, cut off by defenses of character from the rest of the world, is quite vulnerable and fragile given that it is imaginary and propped up through external feed back. Person B is dimly aware of this and defends against it all the more, even desperately projecting his anxieties back onto person A, with the hope of shoring up his ego with salubrious validation. All of this happens without A or B acknowledging it, of course. Because to face up to it consciously is shocking, in that this is all anybody is doing or can do and it seems absurd when you realize how pathetic it is.

    How about just considering IMEs:
    Si: sloth (=interesting animals)
    Fe: chameleon
    Te: ants, bees
    Se: shark
    Ne: raccoon (highly curious creatures)
Ti: spider (Descartes invented Cartesian coordinates when he saw a spider/net)
    Ni: lizard
Fi: ass.... (so much temptation)... llamas (better to handle the personal distance right or get a spit in your face).

Maybe we could categorize each quadra by class, then give each type a species within that. Like mammals for deltas, birds for alphas, reptiles for gammas, and fish for betas.

    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
