I thought the results were quite accurate. Interesting how my top 8 types are all intuitive.

Holy fuck! You guys change Socionics or something? I'm embarrassed to even post this! You people might think I lied on the test or something... *embarrassed emoticon since apparently it's gone now*

Well, I still get ILI as a highly-considerable type. One thing's for sure, though: I've changed a lot. I used to be severely repressed back in high school, and even throughout most of college, I wouldn't say I was exactly socially anxious, just socially maligned, if that makes any sense. I'm not really shy anymore, at least not in the traditional way, and most of my shyness comes from complex factors that are unrelated to "general" social anxiety or AvPD. Nowadays, I stab people in the face who try to tell me I'm "shy" or "unemotional", and I feel like I'm in a stage now where I feel threatened at every turn as I attempt to assert who I really feel I am. I don't think I really should have taken that test, as I'm not exactly in a healthy state right now, although I did give those questions answers I would give if I was in a healthy state (and right now I don't feel too bad!)

As is indicated by my test results, I'm about as P as they come. That I can agree with 100%. E is indicated over I, and F/T and S/N are ambiguous. I think I still understand J/P and E/I differences, possibly even S/N differences, but F/T differences is something I never really got ahold of. I know that you guys think about Socionics differently nowadays than how we did in the distant past, and I'd be glad to go back into type analysis by anyone that's willing. But I know you guys will probably want to keep me INTp.

As for the test, some questions I just couldn't answer, because Rick uses concepts that I've never thought of before. Of course, that's why I really don't like any tests, and it always takes me fifty years to get through any of them. For example, he asked a question that said something like, "you feel that you control the emotional atmosphere around people or in relationships OR the emotional atmosphere is something you don't control" and for one, I've never thought about this before, and two, I don't feel either of these ways. I feel that I match the emotional atmosphere, whatever it may be, and the cause or effect of the situation is something I don't know. Another one: "You try to plan a strategy and get a feel for the general outline of things OR you are very adept at solving problems when they come." I haven't a clue. You know what I mean?

Anyway, enough verbosity for now. Have fun, everyone!

What has been changed from your point of view? I'm curious.

Personally I find things to be getting to abstract and unnecessary complex, instead of simplicity and being practical.

There's a bug in the test, it gives that result if you do the test too slowly.
...the human race will disappear. Other races will appear and disappear in turn. The sky will become icy and void, pierced by the feeble light of half-dead stars. Which will also disappear. Everything will disappear. And what human beings do is just as free of sense as the free motion of elementary particles. Good, evil, morality, feelings? Pure 'Victorian fictions'.

Actually, I did the test in the suggested time of between 20 and 30 minutes, twice, and for one run, I just answered the questions as fast and as randomly as possible, and I still got the same exact result each time. Apparently the bug is in how contradictory your answers are, at least in regards to Socionics, and well, I'm both slow and apparently contradictory when I take these tests. It's not really that I think I "over-interpret" the questions (or maybe it is), it's that when I go to answer half of these questions, I'm always stuck thinking either "I don't understand" or "I've never thought of myself in that way before". I couldn't get an overarching view of myself even if my life depended on it. I define myself by the way I act at any given moment, I guess, and when I go to give answers to these tests, I always go back into my memory and try to find examples of behaviors I've exhibited that may match. I guess it's not about how I feel but rather how I act. (I have to ask, is there a type that does that?)

Jarno: People were commenting on my old INTp/INTj post about how it's changed, so I just figured it did. Personally I've forgotten half the stuff about Socionics.

Ok, so I just went through it again and answered all the questions as randomly and as fast as possible. I get the same exact result. Although the first time I think I screwed up the last part of the test (with the "better"/"much better" stuff), as I didn't understand what was going on. I figured it out now, but still...THIS TEST IS BROKEN! Or at least I fail at it, badly.

EDIT: Ok, so I went through the test again for real. Same damn thing. I give up. One thing's apparently for sure: I think about myself practically all the time, yet I don't know myself at all.

I wonder if it's somewhat dichotomy focused, as SLI and SLE are pretty far apart.
