Oh noes, the Constitution is being destroyed because it's a living document.
Everything is black and white kind of world.
You know, and the fact that this guy is "only" a state senator or that a very small population actually carries this point of view or that he doesn't have that much sway to truly gather enough support for his positions is sort of irrelevant to me. It's more the idea that he's feels like he's the last stalwart and champion of "the truth". Hanging on for dear life at our crumbling civilization so that he can go "I tried to tell you but you didn't listen to me" at some arbitrary time in the future so that he can puff his chest out and stick his nose up at society's unwillingness to listen.
Fuck you.
It's the fact that this bullshit "the gay" is completely lacking in morals rhetoric he speaks of (among a host of other talking points) is still held that pisses me off. Just like the "Moral Majority" pisses me off.
You don't have to go back that far into 20th century when vitriolic rhetoric spewed out of the mouths of people about how Negroes were going to be the downfall of civilization if they gained more influence in the country. It's just... I hear this sort of stuff and there's nothing I can do about it except to express frustration about it. It's just frustrating.
Anyway I'm going to say he's certainly a logical type. Mainly because of his staunch black and white/right and wrong view of the world I will say a of some sort.
