Expat's Gamma metaphor was a boat and Delta was a big gathering room. So maybe a ship is somewhere in between and jessica's own jumping represents her self-type as a Te-ISTp approaching the Te/Fi axis.

I'm less sure Rooster's thread title correlates. I think planes are more Ni/Se axis and indeed Ni-creatives tend to own many of them. (Beta's metaphor was a train.)
