    Gammas suchs as Expat, Niffweed and Phaedrus are simply frauds. This is why:

    Ad Hominem

    Remember this when they try beat you into submission by claiming you are not smart enough, or simply an idiot. This is not what they really think of you on the cognitive level, in reality they are afraid of you, and thus you must be 'destroyed'. Their very self-esteem depends on it.

    With that in the back of your mind, you can only feel sorry for them. Don't think too bad of them, but make sure you don't suffer yourself either by letting them get to you.

    No, evading discussion on the basis that the opponent misunderstands is.

    I was very much willing to learn from Expat, but he chose not to explain himself on the basis that my understanding is wrong. I can accept the latter, but not if he is not willing to show me where I, and others, go wrong.

    I think Expat has a need to be perceived as an authority on Socionics, and that he perceive me, and others, as a threat that undermines that authority. Too bad for him.

    And what made you come to that conclusion as opposed to some other explanation?

    There are always other possible explanations, but based on my understanding I cannot assume there is one.

    Had Expat said something to the effect as "I don't have the time", "I'm not willing" or another sensible argument, I would have respected that. But not this type of thing.

    But since you are speaking of it, what other explanation could there be? Elaborate!

    your argument is wrong for the following reason: you cannot answer the following question:

    in a right triangle ABC with right angle C, CA = 30 and CB = 16. it's legs CA and CB are extended beyond A and B. points O1 and O2 lie in the exterior of the triangle and are the centers of two circles with equal radii. The circle with center O1 is tangent to the hypotenuse and to the extension of leg CA, the circle with center O2 is tangent to the hypotenuse and to the extension of leg CB, and the circles are externally tangent to each other. The length of the radius of either circle can be expressed as p/q, where p and q are relatively prime positive integers. Find p+q.

    hmm if the extension is the same direction as the legs then it cant be done, if the circle tangent the hypotenous then the middle of the circle is a right angle from the hypotenous.

    maybe if the edge of the triangle is.. hmm nha. its null

    No, you are wrong. I am not trying to argue for anything when I claim that you are an idiot. I am just stating a fact. That fact has nothing to do with the issue at stake, and -- I repeat -- it is not intended as an argument for anything.

    That question is solvable. Therefore I can solve it. Q.E.D.

    Oh, very well.

    O1 = (a,b)
    O2 = (c,d)
    hypotenuse: 16y+30x=30*16
    (30a+16b-30*16)/34=e
    (30c+16d-30*16)/34=e
    a=e
    d=e
    sqrt((a-c)^2+(b-d)^2)=2e
    15/17*e+8/17*b=e+240/17=15/17*c+8/17*e
    7*e+8*b=9*e+240=15*c
    8*b=2*e+240
    15*c=9*e+240
    sqrt(2*e^2-ec-be+c^2+b^2)=2*e
    2*e^2-ec-be+c^2+b^2=4*e^2
    b=1/4*e+30
    c=9/15*e+16
    c^2+b^2=e*(2*e+c+b)
    (9/15*e+16)^2+(1/4*e+30)^2=e*(2*e+9/15*e+16+1/4*e+30)
    81/255*e^2+2*9/15*e*16+256+1/16*e^2+2*1/4*e*30+900=2*e^2+9/15*e^2+16*e+1/4*e^2+30*e
    27/85*e^2+1/16*e^2+1156-57/20*e^2-177/15*e=0
    -3529/1360*e^2-177/15*e+1156=0

    Someone take it from here - e is a fully simplified and probably improper fraction, the larger of the two possibilities, where the denominator plus the numerator is the answer to the question.

    Interesting perspective. Well done for bringing it up.

    I agree with your fundamental viewpoint. Gamma NTs are low on Se, and thus they must compensate for this with aggressively rational thought. Often this descends into a mere "defence" of the Gamma NT, as they feel threatened in some way.

    However, I don't think we should criticise Gamma NTs for the way in which they fight (verbally). We don't criticise SLEs for punching little girls in the face, so why should we criticise the LIE for telling someone to "fuck off" in an intellectual, "diplomatic" way?
