I am firmly convinced of UDP's self-typing of LSE.

    1. He seeks clarity in relationships. He is always asking questions on how to better his own experience on the earth. Just check his sig during the week. It always seems to relate to something "deep." I see that as more than

    2. I have talked to UDP since January, and he continuously brings up religious topics, querying me on differing facets of my religion and discussing spirituality. To me, it seems that the majority of his time is spent pondering spiritual matters, for he continuously related actions he performed recently relating to his spiritual progression. He claims that he used to harrass girls, but never felt comfortable with it entirely. I would consider this an example of how seeking would manifest itself in an LSE.

    3. I have related to him my fear of losing control over my future wife. I personally have a problem imagining my wife(if I get one) leaving my sight for very long, because I feel like something is going to happen to her if I'm not there. UDP concurred that he feels the same way exactly, yet more intensely. He seems to have the inclination to plan out his relationships, kinda like me. I see this as a signal of weak, unvalued .

    4. UDP related to me the story of his old roommate who enjoyed to party and was quite loud and in his face. Apparently from the sound of him, he sounded Fe ego, and yes, UDP typed him as ESE. UDP and Mr. ESE never got along. All conversation ended in impasse. This culminated in Mr. ESE packing up and leaving without telling UDP. That is not behavior I would expect from an LSI or any other Fe valuer.

All in all, I have seen too much evidence to really dispute LSE in my eyes.

Why don't you just say "I think UDP is LSI and not LSE".

I was going to say, before you posted that, that you ought to have made the poll public so everyone could see who voted.

I have not voted at all yet.

I still think UDP is LSE. Actually, I think he could be the poster child for LSE.

From private discussions with him, he tends to display very obvious Delta qualities, while directly snubbing superfluous alpha/beta antics. Additionally, I find that he has highly unvalued Fe, to the point where its excessive use irritates him.

He's a stereotypical micromanager (heck, that's what he plans to do with his life...), which some might feel is Se, but it's not aggressively controlling like one would expect out of an Se/Ti. Instead, he sees to simply see the flaws in efficient interaction and wants to grease the gears, so to speak.

In conversation, if UDP dislikes the subject of discussion or finds it actually distasteful, he removes himself from the atmosphere rather than trying to manipulate it himself, clearly Si over Se.

I could keep going, but quite frankly I don't even know how anyone would consider LSI for him. LSE seems so blatantly obvious to me. It seems to ooze from his pores when I talk to him. I think only people who haven't had a meaningful and private conversation with UDP would ever consider him LSI.

Smilex is quite clearly a Ti type IMO.

Vero, I have had plenty of interaction with UDP (moreso than you, I daresay), and LSI makes plenty of sense to me, so don't sound so sure of yourself just yet.

I hate that UDP has become the "poster boy LSE" just by sticking to it for so long. Kinda like how everyone has just accepted Joy as LIE since she's touted it around for longer than any of the other types before and learned to interpret her reality in the context of "being Gamma."

Oh, I wasn't claiming to have talked to UDP more than you, Gilly. I didn't mean to make it sound like that. I just meant that I wasn't sure how many people have talked to UDP about some more personal stuff and how many people were judging him on what shows up in a large group dynamic.

Also, my opinion on UDP's type is not based on his belief that he is an LSE. I think he and I even discussed my opinion that he was LSE before he told me he was LSE. What I've gathered from him is very strongly LSE. That's my personal opinion on the matter and has nothing to do with what he says his type is.

UDP has also had a hard time understanding some of my Fe-laced witticisms. I concur with mn0good.

And Gilly, where is all this hostility coming from? I'm sure I can exorcise it out of you.

I had not really wanted to post further in this thread, but I choose to testify here because if I did not it may imply that I agree with Gilly's understanding of things.

That's what you said the last time you made a type thread about me. How much have we interacted, even since then?

    Some facts:

The last time I PMed mn0good on Stickam: Last night
The last time I PMed Gilly on Stickam: n/a
(maybe once, a few weeks ago, asking a question about what happened while I was away from the chat. We have never talked on a personal level there. The closest thing to that was, in the general stickam chat ((not pm)), "wow, UDP, what happened? You used to seem like you had a stick up your ass." I replied something to the effect of "I've been seeing what works and what doesn't". He sort of nodded with a sense of understanding and said "yeah, I know what you mean". That is the extent of personal discussion I have had with Gilly in the year 2008)
The last time I PMed mn0good on AIM: A few days ago
The last time I PMed Gilly on AIM: Well over 6 months? +9 months? I no longer have Gilly's AIM on my username-list.

I got extremely pissed off when you made that case last time, claiming how you know me really well. This time it seems sort of old hat? If you really think that, Gilly, ok. But consider that I don't actually feel "close" to you. If you want to disregard what I say and suppose we "know each other well", so be it, but I disagree.

This being said, I think our relationship has improved since the really negative period of several months ago. If you recall, there were some tense moments at first on stickam, even ones where I felt a certain hostility coming from you, imaginary or real. I've worked to avoid that and develop a more positive relationship, because you seem to be a decent person and aren't being problematic. I wanted to give people on stickam a fair shot in general.

Do I really think you know me, however? The answer is still no. I do actually feel like I've conversed more with mn0good about some things, and I am quite sure she knows more about my current life happenings than Gilly. But that doesn't mean I dislike Gilly.

Oh, I wasn't claiming to have talked to UDP more than you, Gilly. I didn't mean to make it sound like that. I just meant that I wasn't sure how many people have talked to UDP about some more personal stuff and how many people were judging him on what shows up in a large group dynamic.
I think what mn0 has said in this thread is insightful.

    Other comments:

I really don't understand how people say I am dual seeking, or how they have observed that in stickam - if that is where this is coming from. Again, no offense to Gilly, either - it seems odd that he types me as his dual. Do you see us livening up together in a cool party with music and babes and laughter? I'm wondering just what you see.

Gilly, in what way do you get dual vibes from me? And in what way do you see me positively reacting to Fe?

@Vero: Actually I'm not claiming to know him any better than you, as you both seem to be interpreting my statement; I'm not trying to use our relationship as in any way making me an authority on his type. I'm just wondering how you can be so sure of LSE when I've at least known him for longer than you and see plenty of reason to believe LSI.

I also did not mean to insinuate that he has somehow "tricked" you into thinking he is LSE, or that your beliefs are based only on his. All I meant was that the fact that he has stuck so firmly by his LSE typing has influenced the way that people here on the forum see LSEs as a type, which I personally think is bad because, well, IMO he's clearly not LSE.

    @Kam: Hostility?

@UDP: I'm not claiming to know you well or be close to you or be an authority on you somehow. I never have. See what I wrote to Vero above.

I also don't think you have to know a person intimately to get an impression of their type; sometimes I am capable of typing people accurately within seconds of meeting them. Not to brag or anything, but I'm just saying that whether I know you well or not has no bearing on my opinion of your type.

imo smiling eyes is Te. I am only looking at the way he talks about his theories not their content.

Also leading Te types have always struck me with the way they express anger. It is a particular RAGE. Very jerky and quick, passionate. I have not seen it with any other type, including Se dominants or Fe dominants. I understand passionate might give the impression of Fe, but that's not my intent.

Extreme girly girl? By how you say that, you make it sound like I'm Fe valuing - is that what you are suggesting?

yeah i disagree with the girly girl part. i can't see you with a giggling sally as much as i can see you with the boring lindsay. the sort of girl who helps your mom in the kitchen with dishes.

My girl would be seeing me get angry at the bullshit on this thread/forum,
and telling me not to say "Fuck you heath", I'm sure.
    But I'd say it anyways.

... and then return to eating the subway that I got for her and I

Gross? I disagree. It's wonderful. So full of flavor. Fresh toppings.

    And cookies mmm

I may look to getting a job there, just so I could like get discounts/free subs.....

lol, heath you are such a breath of fresh air.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Just don't be a hater because I know exactly what I want.

I don't I necessarily want an unequal relationship though.
As for domestic ism, well, hmm. Just to clarify in regard to extremes, I don't expect to be married in the next few years. I have school stuff to do, and I have a career to get myself into. So the whole "lets get a house and have kids when we're 22" isn't appealing to me. I want someone I can talk about important things and be with. And yeah, values are important to me. It's taken me a long time to figure out that, and figure out what is. Someone who I can talk seriously with things that are important to me (hopefully us), someone who I can trust, someone who I can care for, yes. But I won't post personal adds here.

I don't know the type of a woman would be happy in that role, but I'm sure there's plenty who are, and I agree with heath very much that they will most likely be found in churches helping and serving.
Yeah, the whole moral/serving/helping girl, donating her time to just causes - that's really appealing to me.
