I don't know about SLI ... he seems like a rational type to me. He objects to her irrationality. I was thinking LSI for him.

Yeah, I've seen the movies. It just seemed to me that he loved her despite her irrationality, not because of it. And she thought of him as anal in the beginning. Do ISTPs come across like that? Idk. Anyway, just my impressions.

There have been articles about how duals don't immediately fall into some trance-like love state with each other. I thought my husband didn't like me for the first few times we saw each other. He showed no expression at all and I wasn't sure how to read that. Anyway, it matches my experience. And I didn't come away from that movie feeling like he fell for her *despite* her irrationality. I thought he found her fun because of how she was.
But it's a fictional movie and Colin Firth could be SLI but I don't think Renee Zelwelger is IEE so the actors who play the parts will influence how we see it as well.
